We had a lovely New Year weekend with some friend and about 80 other guests at this hotel. We had afternoon tea & rum punch before a six course dinner, which was scrumptious. This was followed by an excellent singer to which we danced to our hearts content. We had champagne at midnight & the obligatory auld lang syne. And...

Spent one night at this hotel on Wednesday, whilst visiting Salisbury for a wedding. Allocated Room 17 on 2nd floor. Large room, clean and tidy, with plenty of cupboard space, large bed, on suite bathroom with toiletries provided, iron and ironing board, tea & coffee making facilities, flat screened TV, etc.. Only down side to room was that the shower...

Tried to have dinner and it was so noise the you could not hear person next to me causing a headache. No internet unless you stood in the lobby, long walk to the room with for bags and no offer of help from the staff. Parking lot muddy and dated.

Our experience at this hotel was not good enough and unprofessional for the following reason. We booked a Christmas Sunday lunch for fourteen (14) family members well in advance (about 4/5 weeks). The table was set for 14 but to our surprise and annoyance only 11 meals were served, being told that the chef had made an error. I presume...

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel & enjoyed it as much as the first time round. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who told us that we had been upgraded to a superior room (at no extra cost I might add). This room was lovely & spacious with a splendid view of the Cathedral...

We stayed here for one night and the hotel has plenty of parking and really close to Salisbury. It is a really nice venue which is really clean and tidy with very welcoming staff. The room was very welcoming and a nice size with the most amazing comfortable bed. Really nice and close to be able to walk to the...

Lovely character hotel with opportunity to be more...so much more. The bed in my room was....old and uncomfortable. The dinner menu was limited so we walked around the corner to eat elsewhere. Staff seemed a little uninterested in general. It is well located within walking distance of everything Salisbury.

It's a long drive from Cheshire to Salisbury but knowing the comfortable and friendly Grasmere House is waiting at the end of the journey makes the drive more enjoyable. Have stayed here many times and have never been let down. Each time our stay is relaxing and pleasurable - whatever the time of year. Our little Shih Tzu isopenly welcomed...

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, amazing views and very reasonably priced. Excellent breakfast buffet. Complimentary wine a very nice touch too. Well located to walk into the centre through the cathedral grounds.

As I work nights and was trying to sleep through the day this hotel probably wasn't the best choice. It was a bit noisy with cleaning staff on the go almost all day. Normally I get up to fresh towels and replenished tea and coffee at the door ...... no such luck here, constantly had to ask eventually went to...
