Just returned from The New Ellington. Had a fabulous time, hotel lovely and clean. Excellent facilities in our suite. Only downside was no coffee capsules in room left for us for the coffee machine, but in the early hours wasn't go to get some so not a huge issue. Great choice at breakfast. All staff throughout very friendly and professional down to...

Love this place, been going for years. Very good price for huge rooms, attentive staff and central yet just out of the way location. This place has a gin bar!! The only problem is..... lots of people know about this place!!!

Booked to spend the weekend for a birthday celebration with my friend. The hotel is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from central Leeds and its shopping and nightlife. Booked a twin room but was given the disabled room on the ground floor - would not have been our first choice because it was clearly a disabled...

My review may be tainted in that we stayed at Quebec hotel the night before which was fabulous, only £10 more and included breakfast which our night at the ellington didn't. Very friendly welcome and allowed to check in straight away. All staff we met were very friendly! Very comfortable bed (excellent night sleep) and clean. Some veneers chipped on...

The hotel is well situated, not far from the railway station. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for the girl on reception, she pointed us to nice eateries within walking distance and booked a taxi for us for the following morning. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. All...

Pleasant city centre hotel. Room was clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. Bed was two singles pushed together, but that was fine for a short stay. Bathroom was very nice. Toiletries were good quality but not refreshed the next day. Breakfast was included and good quality. In general staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel has a nice bar area and...

Easy check in with very helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms are spacious and clean. Tv, trouser press, safe, kettle, fridge which had fresh milk and water in it. We didn't use any of the facilities but I'm sure they would have been to a high standard if we had. Pretty central for all our needs...

We went back to Leeds to rediscover the city where we spent our university days - this hotel is within easy walking distance of the railway station and situated in a quiet (one-way) side-street. Being on a main thoroughfare, the slightly swankier looking Quebec hotel nearby seems to suffer with traffic noise problems and we like our peaceful sleep! The...

The hotel is not the usual bland chain and is quite individual. All staff were helpful and polite and I enjoyed their recommendation for trying a gin with chilli and coriander. The rooms were well equipped and the bed was really comfy. Their are loads of restaurants nearby. Would recommend this hotel.
