This hotel holds a very special place in my heart. I grew up in Keighley and many a Sunday dinner and family event, including the funeral of my great grandmother, was had at this Haworth institution. In May my mother suddenly passed away and for a few nights either side of her funeral, The Old White Lion and its staff...

went with friends for an evening meal in the a la carte restaurant, arrived a little early so we were seated in the welcoming bar area with menus so we could order before going to the table. The food was excellent as was the service and I would recommend for a special night out.,

Went on Sunday night in the restaurant. Great menu choice, can recommend the rib eye steak and the duck roll starter. Steak was cooked to perfection and really good chips. My wife had duck and orange again well cooked Good wine list and house wines very acceptable. Not the cheapest place in Haworth to eat but value for money.

Comfy bed, lovely room, superb food especially the breakfast which you could have as much or as little of. The staff are lovely, nothing too much trouble. We would thoroughly recommend ! If you don't like this Inn with its friendly staff you must be used to the savoy Jenny and Paul Harrison

called here after going to the Christmas market. Somewhere I have visited often for a drink but never eaten. I struggle to find gluten free food and was pleasantly surprised to see plenty of choice. I had the tipsy chicken and was not disappointed the chicken was very nice and juicy the potatoes were perfect and the sauce was lovely....

This is a lovely hotel right in the heart of the Haworth village ... right at the top of the main street, looking down the village. The rooms are a good size, good service at the desk and we're extremely grateful that the lovely office manager forward a book on to our next location that we had left in the...

It’s always a disappointment when an old favourite fails to live up to expectations, so it was with some trepidation that I received the news that my wife had booked us into the Old White Lion: It has long been a favourite for a warm, winter lunch, often extended a bit into the afternoon. The greeting was warm and friendly,...

Ate in the bar & found the food to be good with an extensive choice. The Cumberland sausage was cooked well & was a generous portion. My partner had Scampi & it to was very good. The prices were quite high we thought but that may be due to being in Bronte country.

A small but comfortable inn with excellent cuisine and attentive staff. En suite accommodation and traditionally furnished guest areas. Situated in cobbled high street within walking distance of the Bronte parsonage museum. Parking is at the back of the hotel. Haworth is a premium tourist destination; this hotel is good value for money.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The 300 year old facade of this former coaching inn hides the fact this family run hotel combines charming olde world features with thoroughly modern facilities. Situated at the top of the famous cobbled street, walked by the Revd. Patrick Bronte and his famous family. In more recent times as illustrated on TV in Hovis advertisements. This is very much an establishment where food and drink are taken seriously, and dispensed along with hospitality in good measure. Warmth, comfort and a relaxed atmosphere prevail throughout the 14 en-suite bedrooms, beamed bars, restaurant and oak paneled lounge.Freshly prepared food is provided by the highly qualified chefs. Keeping up with modern trends, without ignoring the popularity of old favourites. Featured in major food guides the Gimmerton restaurant is open every evening. An extensive range of reasonably priced bar meals being available in the cosy bars, where real ales are prominent. Exceptional value breaks available both mid-week as well as weekends throughout the year. ... more   less
