large room, clearly a family room when we booked a double but obviously no complaint about the bigger room at no additional cost. Very comfortable and clean, good breakfast. One pointer, this is a pub and the night we stayed was a big student event weekend so some noise from the bar below, but it wasn't too loud to keep...

The ground floor of the hotel is a pub, breakfast and lobby are also in the old style bar. I write this as I try to sleep, the music in the pub is too loud although I'm in the top floor rooms. V poor.

We previously stayed here to go and see a show at the theatre that is only about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The pub part of this hotel is great with friendly staff and great food, breakfast in the morning was great and the staff were happy to help if we wanted anything. Music was playing quite...

On a busy road so the traffic noise wasnt a surprise. Car park was ok but cramped exit. Our room was a good size, very green including the vertical blinds in the window! We had the room above the public bar which came with loud music until just after midnight, and talking in the car park til 4 am. The...

This was my first stay at The Westleigh Hotel. I must admit, I wasn't holding high hopes for a pleasant stay, as I have stayed in "Pub Hotels" in the past and been disappointed with tiny, dirty rooms. I am definitely glad I gave them the chance. On arrival I was greeted by a friendly staff member who was very...

The rooms are far away enough from the pub downstairs for noise not to be a problem. The rooms are big and have character but have the wear and tear you'd expect from such an old building. Free wi fi and tea and coffee facilities in the room.Overall good value for money.

Spent 3 nights in the hotel . It is very cozy and reasonably good service rendered . They provide a genuine portion of breakfast with room. The pub is a typical English pub and they have karaoke night once in a week. The location is very central and close to transport the city centre and the University .
