This pub/hotel is in a great location, just 2 minutes into the centre of the city. The staff were lively and very helpful and good customer service. Surprisingly quiet for a pub. The only downfall, in my opinion was that it was a little expensive £100 per night for what it is. The room needed some TLC. The shower door...

3rd time I've stayed here and have never been disappointed. Rooms are nice, well decorated with flat screen TVs and tea & coffee making. Beds comfortable and shower has good water pressure. Staff very friendly and great breakfast included. Location fantastic, very easy stroll to centre and wall walk just opposite. One downside is that in summer the beer garden...

Stayed here for the Goodwood Members Meeting in March 2015 and the staff were very friendly - showed us politely up to the room and explained everything. We were lucky to get a room for this event weekend and although they only had a twin room available it was clean and plenty of tea and coffee. Towels all neatly folded...

Stayed here for a theatre trip; had lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast. Service was friendly and the food at dinner was superb and the cooked breakfast was good but the buffet was limited and the coffee had been made in advance and was keeping warm in a jug. The rooms were on the small side and a bit dark, although...

I was born in Chichester, well, 45 years ago now. Chichester has changed a lot in the 20 years I have lived abroad and, as far as I can see, it is all for the better. I like staying at the George and Dragon because it is very convenient for downtown Chichester. It is wonderful to be able to get...

Simply had to return to the George for a home-from-home Christmas treat welcome & once again never disappointing :-D Cosy, comfy rooms (one upstairs & one down) with everything we needed. Beautiful log fires, excellent restaurant, best breakfast ever tasted - no word of a lie. Superb & soooo central for the sales! Looking forward to our next visit already...

Visited The G&D prior to a matinee show at The Chichester Festival Theatre. It's situated a 5 minute walk away from The CFT and so is ideal for pre or post show meals. The restaurant at the back of the pub was very busy, and had a wonderful ambience. All the staff were very professional; polite and quietly efficient. We...

Arranged my work Christmas meal here. The food was super, staff fantastic, wine plentiful and atmosphere festive. Have also frequented at other times of the year and it is always busy and a good night out. Pop in!

I am a guide dog owner and a regular visitor to the theatre in Chichester and I am so glad to have found the gem that is the George and Dragon. Great service, clean and comfortable room, lovely food and nothing is too much trouble and I was made especially welcome with my guide dog. Situated very near to the...

I am a local lad, and have been frequenting the George and Dragon for some time. I feel that with many of these reviews it tars the bar/hotel/resteraunt with a bad brush. I have to disagree with all of these comments. Quite frankly I have yet to come across a more freindly environment in the Chichester area. The bar staff...
