Went here to watch some bands that were performing in the live lounge. The bedroom was very very clean. Lovely power shower,so no worries about low power or hot water and shower gel provided. Tea and coffee and bottled water were also provided. Absolutely lovely place, lovely staff and to top it all the breakfast was amazing. So thank you...

We had a lovely overnight stay, the room was clean, bed comfortable and food great. The service from the manager was excellent nothing was too much trouble even starting breakfast earlier for us which was very substantial and tasty.

Booked the venue for my Wife's 50th Birthday during the summer of 2016 and Nick, Elliot and their staff were absolutely brilliant - So much so I have booked the venue again for another party in Feb 2017 - Well done guys - this pub has real character - perfect!

Lovely little place, with a beautiful fire crackling away, which made it so relaxing! Nice and clean inside and out, with good tasting beer (all you need!). They had one troublesome customer, who was trying to start a fight about nothing. The staff there handled it very well, and in a very professional manner.

The service was very quick and the drink was ice cold just the way I like it. Ideal for dinners and light lunches. I would recommend staying here as well for cheap accommodation and for rooms local to the city centre.

We had the most bizarre experience at this place tonight. So we turned up at 6pm with a view to eating & then to attend a music event in their back room later on. Didn't expect it to be an issue as website says food served all day. At a guess there were already about 15 other diners & I...

I'm very sorry that we were unable to serve you on this occasion which was due to exceptional circumstances. We had a pre-booked dining party of 12, which unexpectedly became 18, proceeding to order 2/3 courses each at about the time of your arrival. The demand from this party, yourselves, and others was more than our kitchen output could cope...

This inn is homely and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We were three ladies staying overnight as we were going to the theatre. They arranged three beds in our room and made sure there was plenty of tea and coffee for us to help ourselves. Breakfast was excellent and we had each chosen a different choice of egg which...

We stayed for three nights and got exactly what we expected. The decor of the room is good as is the cleanliness. Staff are lovely and attentive. It's a pub so there is some noise in the evenings, depending on what's on in the bar, and the breakfast is adequate, not exceptional. It's a bit on the pricey side but...

Fantastic location on the edge of the town only a very short stroll to all the attractions Chichester town centre has to provide. Nick was a gent and gave my mother and I a nice welcome and helped us out with getting ourselves familiar with the town. Our bedroom was spacious and nicely decorated with a well appointed bathroom and...

The location is good if you want to be close to the town centre. The room was neat and clean but pretty small and basic. I found the bed uncomfortable. The biggest issue was noise which made for 2 very disturbed nights (decided to leave a day earlier than my 3 nights booked and paid for - no part or...

Strange that you didn't have anything to complain about whilst you were here. As you booked via a 3rd party agent, 48 hours notice of cancellation was required.
