Stayed here for one night - room 15. The room was in need of an update as had stains on the carpet and the bed was unusually low though bedding was clean and seemed fresh. The bathroom had black mould around the bath and the wallpaper had lifted. We also had a giant cobweb across two walls in the bathroom....

Stayed here for two nights on business. Great little hotel . Stayed in a recently refurbished room ( no. 36) . Nice bathroom with a lovely powerful shower. Didn't eat at the hotel at night but the evening menu looked fine. The full English breakfast included in the price was well cooked plentiful and very tasty. A 10 minute drive...

We had a good three night stay at this hotel whilst attending an event at the NEC. The hotel is a relatively short journey from the NEC with an easy entry to the centre via the A45. We have used this hotel for the past 4 years and have seen how it has been undergoing refurbishment. Our room was newly...

Stayed for one night last week. The staff on the desk were very welcoming. Unfortunately the heating in my room was not on, so very cold. Staff fixed this, but the heating proved to be inadequate, and I had to supplement with an electric heater in the room. My window latches were broken and it wouldn't close properly, adding to...

This hotel had good reviews but unfortunately we were given a room yet to be refurbished and it was the worst room we have ever stayed in (and we have travelled extensively). The bathroom was particularly grim with black mould around every tile, on the ceiling and red mould on the shower curtain. Wallpaper was peeling and the window sill...

This was a well-run, friendly hotel. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Food (both dinner and breakfast) and drink was good and competitively priced. Indeed the whole offer is competitive - I got a large room including breakfast for just over £40. Free wi-fi which seemed to work very well throughout the hotel. I would tend to concur with some...

A great family meal, the staff were fantastic and helpful with dietry needs too. Very reasonable prices and a flexible menu too. The tables in the restaurant were laid to a high standard, making it look very regal. Free wifi too.
