Everything I needed in the room - comfy bed & pillows, warm, plenty of storage for a short stay, good ensuite facilities, TV worked well & lots of channels, tea & coffee available just outside room, very quiet. Good cooked breakfast in the morning & juice, cereal, toast etc. Friendly owners & nice relaxed atmosphere.

Honestly, horrible. Zero heating end of Nov all night - outside around zero Celsius. Are they trying to save money? Zero extractor fans in the room - the shower is just built-in cabin in the room. After shower the room is full of humidity, mirrors and windows are wet and and traces of mold on the ceiling. Strongly not recommended.

We stayed booked and stayed for one night, going to Art Center for a concert.booked way back in March, paying half as a deposit.spoke to Kim on the phone who explained directions from the station. Had a phone call from John day before our arrival to say they would be out later in the afternoon, but would leave keys and instructions for us.We... More

I had paid a 50% deposit for a double room but when we turned up at the B&B, the proprietor refused to let us stay claiming the room we booked was too small to accommodate us. Hence when making reservations, do check carefully as there are smaller and larger double rooms. Prior to booking, we did read several reviews that... More

I raised my eyebrows seeing the size of the rooms, but as a frequent guest at all kinds of accommodation around the world this wasn't completely unheard of. However the refusal to serve breakfast after I suggested that 08:30 for latest breakfast was not very convenient for someone that likes to lie in on a Saturday, had great comedy value.... More

Welcoming host ,rooms quite small ( dont expect 4 star hotel!) but traditional cottage feel. Breakfast very good. Situated on outskirts of Coventry city centre but close enough to get to things of interest.

I love this B&B! Yes the single rooms are small, and yes the floor boards are a bit creaky, but to be fair, John and Kim Hawley are so friendly and welcoming that these things don't really matter at all. I have stayed with them for 2 overnight stays in the last few months while studying in the nearby University... More

Beautiful place and nice and polite people. We stay only one night but we appreciated the atmosphere relaxed and familiar. 60 pds is a very good price for the services we had. To be precise from Italy we were charged of 17 euros for bank transfer (Unicredit). B&B has no electronics payments, 50% in advance and the rest at checkout... More

I have been using this B&B for nearly 10yrs now. It is fantastic value for money and retains all of the charm and warmth of an old school B&B. The owners are welcoming and friendly (I understand that management has now moved down a generation in the family), rooms are comfortable and it is a 5m walk from the University... More
