Stayed here for one night whilst visiting Birmingham to see Bruno Mars and chose this Travelodge due to its price and proximity to the Barclaycard Arena. The welcome we received was very warm and pleasant, with the employee (Amanda)s very interested and chatty. The room was very spacious and big, with the beds comfy and the bathroom clean and clean...

4 night stay in April. Room was as described and expected for TL. What made the stay was the staff, all were friendly and obliging. Breakfast included in the deal was very good. Great location. No dramas with early check in which was appreciated after 38 hours of travel.

For a conference at the ICC building, it was a very easy route to and from the event centre and good value for money. However the plaza isn't in a great location (there's lots of building work, people hanging around downstairs at night) but otherwise was a pleasant stay.

Bed sheets were damp... bathroom and bedroom not cleaned, dirty floor. Coffee grains left from previous guest. Very noisey hotel from outside and guests indoors. Staff did not inform of anything regarding the hotel. Breakfast was OK.

One of the companies smaller hotels, a bit back from the city centre but within walking distance. Has a bar area and serves cooked food am and pm. (Doesn't seem the evening food was popular as no one else in the bar on the 2 nights we were there) Functional seating rather than restaurant. Room was smaller than some other...

The windows have little sound proofing so traffic noise is extremely loud and you are unable to sleep! Worst nights stay ever. Reception refused to swap rooms saying they are all the same. The bed was also very uncomfortable. I would not recommend ever staying here

The beds are were lumpy & the rooms were dated. The guests were very noisy, with music on all evening full blast in the room next door. The breakfast was very limited & not quickly available when items run out.
