We had to stay here as all other local hotels were booked, however the central heating never worked all night in room number 30 and the decor is outdated. Price wise it is okay but the room is quite dark and you don't get proper light to do makeup. The bathroom tub had black chip marks and bathroom door was...

I was in Birmingham for a night on business and my usual hotel was full so I booked here as it's just down the road from where I usually stay. When I arrived it was clear that they are currently going through some refurbishment of the common areas and the bar/restaurant. The room had old decor and the sing in...

The hotel was ok just a bit old fashioned, n I found the staff quite rude and miserable .. Won't ever stay there again though and wouldn't really recommend the place ether. I only wanted to let my brother come up to drop my bags off and get ready to go back out but the manager insisted it was only...

I stayed here with my friends last month and we enjoyed our weekend. The room was spacious and clean, although the decor was a bit dated. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Would choose again in the future at such a reasons rate.

This was a hotel booked with friends to go see bands at the NEC. On arrival the hotel looked scruffy and very tired but it was cheap so you can forgive most things if it is a comfy bed and clean. Unfortunately this proved not to be the case. The beds were terrible, with rubbish scruffy thin duvets well past...

Well, where to start...initial impressions were...well, it's OK. .I suppose, thank goodness it's only for one night...however....it's now 3am and I'm freezing, the bed slopes and I can feel all my blood rushing to my head. Next door are having a party, getting to, ahem, know each other really well (!) and I can hear everything....maybe they're trying to out...

Whenever I go away the reviews are normally really bad and the hotel actually turn out pretty decent, so looking at all the bad reviews for this hotel I thought surely it's not too bad for £60. I should have looked into this hotel and area a lot more than I did. The area is a dump, literally as the...

I had the displeasure of staying here for a week for a work function. Firstly the entrance hall was unwelcoming, untidy and unclean. The evening member of staff I dealt with on most occasions was however very helpful. On finally reaching my room after several sets of stairs I was immediately shocked at the stench in the room, almost like a...
