I checked into my room this evening and there is no water in the entire hotel. When i spoke to the reception they could just tell me that the manager is trying to deal with it but did not give any indication of a plan B if the plumber doesnt work. I would suggest in situations like this it would... More

Airless cell like rooms with an overly complicated lighting and air conditioning controls. Disappointing water pressure for such a modern hotel. Scratch the surface of this hotel and it really doesn't live up to its promise. Fur coat, no knickers, one might say. Staff pleasant enough.

We really enjoyed staying here. All the staff were really helpful throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and very clean. The location is spot on if you want to do some shopping The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. I don't have any negative comments , Great Hotel, Great Staff!

The La Tour is an immaculate and soulless corporate hotel. They have humanised it a bit since I was last here -- a human being checks you in and out nowadays (instead of a machine). You pay top money and it delivers on room quality. There are a couple of issues to bear in mind. First you are not within... More

We have always stayed at the Burlington but thought we would try La Tour this year. We will definitely come back. We had an executive room which was really comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was excellent and the bar area relaxed. As only 4 years old, the hotel is in good shape and their arrangement for parking at the Selfridges... More

This was a very nice hotel with efficient staff and an easy check in/check out process. Our room was modern and lovely, although the duvet was flat and unappealing. I loved the chaise lounge next to the big window, and the big fluffy pillows. The hotel is situated within a 5 minute walk to The Bullring, which is awesomely convenient.

A beautiful place. The fact that there was a free large box of chocolates and bottle of wine in my fridge - says it all really. Stunning decor and beautiful bedrooms. Who ever designed it and manages it knows how to make their customers feel really nourished and special I will be back

I stayed mid-week due to being in Birmingham for a conference. The rate for the room was very good and I was impressed by the general quality of the place. Staff were helpful and efficient. Room was clean and in good order. Very comfortable. You could criticise the fairly generic business hotel feel to the place, but I wasn't too... More

The hotel is really nice but there were a couple of weird things which were slightly off-putting with our stay in November 2016. On arrival, a lady named Megan greeted us and was very courteous and helpful; she booked us into a room in the second floor. The first thing I noticed was the used red wine glass that was... More

Overly large room as we upgraded to superior don't bother though as it's a waste of money no difference apart from a slightly larger room but definitely is overpriced,we had friends book a double room and it was pretty much the same. There was 6 of us in three separate rooms and we all agreed that the shower was terrible,... More
