We took 2 superior rooms for a family trip to Birmingham. It's in a great location within easy walking distance of the station, shops and museum. Check-in was efficient and friendly and the rooms were a good size for a city centre hotel. Sadly one of rooms wasn't stocked properly, I had to go down to reception twice for toiletries...

Hotel was in a great location and the room we had was really nice However it was incredibly warm. The air con made a lot of noise but didn't cool the room at all. Asked at reception if anything could be done and we were eventually provided with a fan. This helped a little but it was still very warm...

I stopped a night at the hotel because we had a dinner there and I had a train to catch in the morning. I don't often use Malmaison for business so when I do I always expect and normally get a good service. This hotel was ok, but not in my opinion up to the usual standards. Check in was...

The hotel looked fantastic, room excellent, reception service good, but there it ended. Hotel exceptionally hot, the room I was in 511, come the early hours you heard ever toilet flush , checking out their was quite a delay. Hotel expensive for what you got. Car parking is expensive next door to the hotel, but you can get 15% reduction...

No issues here at all other than it is a very dark in some areas but the rooms are great. Well positioned though and a nice breakfast offering if a little slow on the service side. Easy for anyone travelling by train but parking is very expensive

Amazing location, minutes walk from the canal. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was really smart and clean. Recommended especially for barclaycard arena as just a 10/15 minute walk away. Lots of restaurants within a stones throw.

I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the ICC. The room was very spacious with two large beds and I really enjoyed the Starbucks in the lobby. The bar was fun and had good food, but seemed to get very busy on Friday night that limited seats. It is opened to the public and seemed like a popular destination.

A busy bar. The restaurant was quite quiet. Service was excellent. Food delicious. Chicken parfiat was smooth and tasted amazing. Rib eye was cooked to perfection and excellent meat and we chose this after the waiter recommended it. Pricey at over £150 for two (not huge amount of alcohol).
