So I made the mistake of not reading reviews before booking!! Never again The car park which is advertised - not working as the shutters are broken- not 100% convinced about that though as no cars were inside so the door managed to jam when it was empty.. impressive. The hotel is above a very rough looking pub / bar....

bedroom carpet looked like it needed a thorough deep clean. cracked bathroom tiles (very dangerous), faeces on toilet seat, so bad, I checked in and checked out with 10 minutes. I couldn't spend a night in such a filthy place

Prices are very reasonable so I wasn't expecting much. I travelled alone and stayed for 2 nights for a work function. Breakfast was delicious, for £5 a bargain I couldn't fault it. Although was served in a bar in basement which was cold. Lady owner was lovely, couldn't do enough for you. Very helpful, polite and friendly, but unfortunately her...

I was a bit apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but I found the stay ok. The location was easy to find and the hotel had a lift to the rooms which is always a bonus. The room was clean and the staff were lovely as well as the locals in the bar. The rooms are...

On arrival, the bar was full of rowdy, drunk individuals who were rude to us as we walked in. This made me feel very uncomfortable!! When we go to the room, it was cold, there was a funny smell and after about an hour we left.

Booked 2 rooms because it was close to the stadium, although greeted well upon arrival (by the landlady I presume) everything that followed was disastrous. One of the rooms smelled so bad we had to move although were told we could only move for the one night. when we returned we were told we had to take our drinks to...

As usual I am looking for reasonable priced hotel rooms in Birmingham I thought I had found a new one the pictures where all from inside should have know why. This is not a hotel it is a pub with rooms. No proper reception you have to wait in what once was another bar now empty and called a sitting...
