Well where to start... first of all upon arrival, the bloke on reception seemed more interested in his phone. he didn't show me where the room was, and the corridors were like a maze. the lights kept turning off when walking in the corridors and I couldn't see where I was going. When entering the room, the floorboards kept creaking,... More

We stayed here for one night and found it very suitable. The room was a good size and it was clean and tidy. We were given the WiFi codes for free WiFi and we were in a room at the back end of he hotel which was nice and quiet. The bathroom was good with lovely hot water for a... More

Stayed here for a planned 3 nights whilst exhibiting at the the NEC a good 20 mins away. When we first came to check in staff basically ignored us stood at reception until we was like please can we check in. 1 of the guys was too busy on his playing some sort of candy crush saga whilst the other... It's not about never making a mistake, it's about how you react when you do. Room was basic but clean and neat. Dinner was very nice. Not much selection but then that saves time! Bed was comfortable and managed a good nights sleep. One issue was that TV didn't work (something to do with aerial). This is a problem if... More

Stayed here whilst attending an exhibition, the room was in poor condition, threadbare carpet, shower just a trickle, on two of the four nights I stayed the restaurant was closed, railway next door along with the heat of the room kept me awake. All in all not worth the £95 per night! They state it's a 15 minute drive from... More

A welcome stopover...quiet and comfortable. Value for money though bar prices seemed a little high. We had a pleasant walk from the hotel in the evening and loved the old buildings in the area plus the country feel!

I have stayed many times at this hotel. The hotel is very clean and quiet even though the hotel seems to be really busy. It is well situated(near bus stop and railway station). Nice bar area, free wifi and helpful staff.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The room is very clean and well laid out with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is a little late for me at 7.00, and it would be nice to get bar snacks before the 6.30 meals starts, but we can't have everything. The hotel is not disabled friendly and... More

Very good value for money especially considering we booked really last minute. The hotel offered everything we needed and most importantly was very clean and quiet even though the hotel seemed to be really busy. Nice bar area and reasonably priced freshly cooked meals on the Sat night. We did not make it to breakfast so cant comment on this.... More
