Primitive. Wasn't expecting more for the price to be fair. Staff friendly though. Very basic in all respects. Shower pressure was akin to a gnat urinating. No central heating but a heater that could either be full or off. Had a drag race going on outside at 3am. But yes, primitive.

Positive: The breakfast is quite good with a professional coffee machine, many choices of cereal, fruit, yogurt etc. and the usual fried English-style assortment. Also there is evidently some effort applied to maintaining the surroundings with hedges, shrubs, flowers etc. Location is convenient for the centre and the Bristol Road. Negative: The rooms are in flimsy 2-story motel style buildings...

We arrived and were pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to park and check in. When we arrived at the room the smell of wet dog was undeniable! The bathroom smelt the worse, so I tried to air it out but this just made the entire room smell. The walls/ceiling were paper thin, we woke up in the morning...

Reception staff very friendly, room was clean and comfortable, and enough room. Bed was nice and big too. The location was perfect as I was attending an event at the O2 Academy. My early check in request hadn't been passed through to the reception staff from the person that agreed it via email, but they quickly sorted it once i'd...

The hotel is well located with plenty of things in the centre of Birmingham a short walk away. It is basic and the rooms are motel-style, leading directly on to the car park (which is secure and costs £5 per day). This is evidently one of the older Ibis hotels in the UK as it sticks closely to the original...

Basic accommodation; rooms are basic and a bit tired and dated - was a bit noisy from the road outside and noise from the upstairs room, kettle , tea and coffee provided in room , for a cheap 1 night stay it was ok ; for GBP you get what you pay for.

I stayed here last week for work, mon-thurs. It's 46 quid a night so if you were at the o2 next door it would be fine. The bed is comfy and clean and the staff are great- really friendly. It's motel style and is not on a v nice street- there's a much nicer ibis 10 mins walk away in...

Staff are very cordial, cooperative & forthcoming to resolve issues, if any and making our stay comfortable. Aniket, Ms. Krasi and others proactively walked the extra steps for our comfort. We liked the rooms and architecture of the building and the rooms.
