Fabulous location, nice and helpful staff but the hotel is very very tired. Looks like it was last decorated in the 90s, turns out that's quite a while ago! As the new developments keep popping up in Birmingham this hotel is going to struggle more and more, I think it's time has now gone. Car parking is a complete nightmare!

Had really friendly service on check-in and check-out. Driving to hotel is a bit of a nightmare at the moment and parking is a bit tricky. Great location after a night out, big rooms and loved how comfy the bed was :)

I always use the Jurys inn but they were booked up. Copthorne have a good reputation so, even though it was more than twice the cost i needed a room and thought of might be a 'treat'. How wrong I was they gave me room 241. I went up to unpack and change quickly as I was meeting colleagues for...

There's so many reasons why you shouldn't stay here it would take too long to list. The absolute major problem is that its in the middle of a major road development, its impossible to get to and has no parking. But honestly that's not the only thing wrong. There is NOTHING to recommend this place - please don't stay here!!...

No fault of the establishment but vast redevelopment of the Paradise Circus area makes travelling to, or from, this hotel horrendous- both by car or as a pedestrian. It is almost impossible for anyone with mobility difficulties. I understand the area will be under redevelopment until May 2016. Roads are being dug up and re-routed and pedestrians have endless steps...

Whilst the bed was nice & big as well as comfy that was the only good thing about the hotel. The room decor was dated with a threadbare carpet & a shower added onto the bathroom some time ago. The hotel is in the middle of a building site with the upgrading of Paradise & being honest even after all...

Hotel is well situated for Man U ground (10 mins walk) and tramway. Staff were all friendly and room was spotlessly clean. we paid £138 for two people in a double room with breakfast included. There was only one dressing gown left and our electronic key was a a bit iffy! The wifi that was included in the price was...

The hotel is pretty dated and looks in need of a tidy up. Reception staff always seem to take so long to deal with queries. The rooms are always too hot or two cold. My pillows were so lumpy they felt like backs of broken cement. And the noise all through the night. Admittedly it's in the middle of some...

We booked this hotel for one night in order to combine Christmas shopping with a visit to the German Christmas market. We got a really good deal and decided to book it despite the poor reviews. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bedrooms. The bathrooms are a little out of date but quite acceptable. We did not...

Have stayed at other hotels in the area for similar prices that are way better! Carpet was so worn that you could see parts without designs..super uncomfortable beds, bathroom dirty. The rooms look NOTHING like the photos on their site. Will never book again. Customer service was horrible as well and staff looked miserable. Check in took over a half...
