Hotel is in need of an update, but check in was quick & easy - pleasant staff. The room was standard double, again in need of an update. The bed was amazing, had a really good night sleep! Someone tell me where the pillows are from! Would stay again - perfect location for the Barclaycard area!

We had a one-night stay here, on a Saturday evening. We booked relatively late (and needed a hotel in this area of town), and also needed a few rooms - the Copthorne was basically the only option without paying OTT room rates. We had 'Club' rooms - at a higher rate than the standard rooms. We walked from New Street...

Stayed at the hotel on business. Well placed for the conference centre which was just a few minutes away. There is a huge amount of building work going on around that area so it took several attempts to actually get into the hotel. The room was fine, and staff friendly. There were mobility issues for a member of our group...

A testament to the objectivity of Trip Advisor contributors. This hotel benefits from a city centre location, but that's a city centre currently under re-construction. I had a grandstand view of the work in progress, it was not intrusive and on the plus side more interesting to look at than a car-park - which I usually seem to get. The...

There's no hiding from the fact that this hotel is well past its sell by date from an interiors and decor point of view. The public areas look like the set of 80's classics like LA law. the carpets and upholstery are threadbare and tired. This malaise continues to the room, which was again dated, and poorly cleaned with somebody...

The hotel room was excellent, clean and very comfortable. Location was perfect. Staff were good and helpful The food however was very below average. Breakfast - Poor - Chinese in house restaurant- very poor and limited choice, think before driving to this hotel. The roadworks around the hotel are crazy. So so busy

Had a pleasant stay at the Copthorne for 3 nights. Everywhere was very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated, but had everything you would need. The bed was extremely comfortable - the mattress topper really does help for a good nights sleep. The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of Brindley...

We stayed one night as we went to a festival at the o2 academy. Cannot comment on the food as we didn't have any. Rooms and bath room were a good size if a little dated. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We got back to hotel at midnight and our TV did not work and they offered to send someone...

Clean, friendly staff, good food, expensive bar. The only thing I would say is that the rooms need to be updated. Glad we weren't there during the week as would be very noisy due to construction work.
