Stayed here one night for Murder Mystery night. Lovely old building..lots of parking..bar area nice furniture and decor. The room was old and dated. .very shabby. Definitely needs a major refurbishment to bring up to date. The entertainment was ok..was during 3 course meal so missed some as our backs were to it. Wasn't what I expected but people on...

The place was very easy to find and only a 5 minute drive from the centre. Has a car park and there were lots of spaces on both occasions I have visited. Nice enough welcome - the building is very old all over. Some of this is quaint but some is a bit musty.... Great WIFI in the room -...

We had our wedding reception at the Plough and Harrow on Saturday 15th April they catered for 48 day time and a further 60 evening guests. We had a sit down 3 course meal and a hog roast for the evening reception. One of the things that attracted us to the Plough and Harrow was that our guests could have...

So we arrive just before our 1.30pm booking in a glorious warm sunny day and the building looks stunning. As we enter the hotel there is no disappointment in either decoration or furnishings. There was a trio of women being dealt with by a waitress and no one at the bar. We waited and the waitress came over go help...

Stayed in April on business. The hotel is an old building full of character but getting a bit tired and in need of a little decoration. The rooms were also dated but very spacious and are equipped with most things you would need for an overnight stay. I have a comfortable nights sleep but the major let down was the...

The place was...

The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We were disappointed with the service at dinner , as we had two young children and service was very long due to staff shortage that night. For the deal we had with the safari parkit was really good value for money.

We were very happy with our stay at the Plough and Harrow. We were attending a conference nearby and found it very convenient for Five Ways railway station, which has cheap services every 10 minutes. We got the feeling that the hotel was undergoing a bit of refurbishment. Ultimately we felt this was reflected in the very competitive price. Some...
