DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. We where broken into while having a work night out. We where out for 4 hours roughly and all our possessions had been gone through and various things were stolen (6 other rooms had also had the same problem between 7-9.30 pm due to someone having access to the master key) I suppose there...

Just came back after spending a couple of days here, Id already paid on arrival or else i would of found somewhere else immediately! The hotel is nice on entering, the staff are lovely, the room was awful! The lights kept tripping out, the lights in the bathroom were broken, the TV didnt work, the mirror was cracked and the...

This hotel needs a good clean from top to bottom it is in most places filthy. There was nothing good about the experience at all. The room had an odour which was horrible. Staff didn't seem to care it was as if they were so used to complaints it went straight over their head. We had to dry the breakfast...

I'm not usually one to post bit people need to avoid this so called hotel. We went with my sister in law to a concert. She had to wash the bath and toilet out as there was pubic hair on them. Our room was ok, until the neighbours came in and I heard everything. Drug deals, arranging taxis and there...

The first room was awful and I insisted on being moved, and whether we got up-graded or not I don't know, but the next room was fine and suited us well. Only one lift, which is a bore when you're stuck on the 8th floor. Didn't go for breakfast - far too expensive and found an ideal place for a...

Although dated the room was clean and acceptable. £38 for a city centre hotel is an excellent rate and any disturbances are more to do with the location than the hotel management. Very close to Railway station and shops. Did not eat there so can not comment on food.

Stayed here for one night in a single room on floor five. After reading other reviews I was quite wary. I found although the room needed redecorating it did not smell. The bed was clean and comfortable the nets hid the old windows. The tele was the right size for the room. The bathroom was clean and the toilet seat...

You know the hallway from the movie The Shining, well imagine that but over 8 floors of dark, miserable, damp smelling awfulness. The positives it is conveniently located to New St station and the bullring both a short walk away. The negatives, the lift was slow one broken, the room was small dark, cramped and the bed looked like something...
