Stayed for 5 nights. Ground floor room. Well furnished and very clean. Secure parking at back of property. Situated on a quiet street. Very useful having a microwave and fridge and place to eat your own food. Proprietors are extremely helpful, polite and welcoming. A great place to stay at a very reasonable rate. I will certainly use again. Dog... More

We stayed for 2 nights whilst going to gardening world!I've at the NEC The welcome was a bit on the weird side not and was a good 15 mins before we were shown our room no offer of a cup of tea on arrival. Room and bed comfort were OK except for a pink spotted sock left in the bottom... More

I stayed just for one night so booked (what I thought was) bed & breakfast for a standard single room. However, Expedia only booked the room, so breakfast was extra, but well worth it. This is a lovely large old Victorian house in a quiet suburb 3 miles or so from the City Centre. I was upgraded to an en-suite,... More

Our room was a great size with an en suite and had everything we needed; suited our needs perfectly. The location is between the NEC and Birmingham town centre so was hande to get to both places, again exactly what we needed. The owners are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. One last thing...quite possibly the best full English I have... More

Very pleasant check in, very friendly people. Room was on the ground floor with great wheelchair access (if required). Nice size tv and wifi. Tea and coffee in room. Quiet road with good secure parking on site. Pleasant night sleep. Can't comment on breakfast as didn't have it. Criticism, if being picky, it may be a little dated, but why... More

A friend booked me the B+B without me even seeing the place, saying I would like it. My friend was right. The period house in a quiet street away from the main road was delightful. Parking was not a problem because there is a large parking area around the back of the house. It is gated, and is locked at... More

Great place for either a short business trip or longer stays. This is a family run place and the owners are very helpful. There was a mix up with my booking via Hotels.com but they sorted it out in a very helpful and efficient manner. The room was clean and breakfast was excellent. The shower was a little slow but... Was staying for a night during a business trip. The owners came to welcome me which was very pleasant. The room was clean, with a little kettle and tea/coffee provided. You also get sachets of shampoo+conditioner and a mini bar of soap as per normal hotel stay, and the only thing that was a bit annoying was the fact that... More

Good guest house, friendly owners and very good (and large) breakfast. Bed a bit less comfortable than ours at home, but more than value for the money. Wifi worked fine, even at the top of the house. Altogether a pleasant stay.

“I only needed a single room as I stayed for one night. I was at the top of the house and it was very quiet indeed. The double rooms are slightly more of course, but still offer incredible value for money and of course they have en suite bathrooms.”
