I stayed here for a week with my partner back in October. we booked a private en suite room. it was a nice, clean and cosy room, worth the price (minus the extremely thin walls). the second stay was not long ago, we booked the same again (private en suite) . arrived and the room was filthy, cold and looked...

Truly horrible place to stay. Horrible rooms. Poor service. Avoid at all cost. Our shower drain was blocked and the water kept cutting out. One of our towels had a stain. The reception staff member was very rude. The kitchen was filthy.

I've been to a lot of hostels before but this one is probably the worst one I've ever stayed at. I slept in an eight-bed dorm and we only had one bathroom which was super dirty. It had mould all over it - absolutely disgusting! There's a tram line outside the door - which is great for getting into the...

I stayed here recently for the first time and I wasn't expecting 5* but I was expecting more than I got, which was a shabby, hot room with no windows that could be opened so it stunk of sweat and was way too hot and dry as the heating was on. There was rubbish and dust everywhere and the noise...

A hostel to book if you have low expectations on what £15 a night will get you. Pros: cheap, decent enough free breakfast, my room's sheets and ensuite bathroom were clean, kitchen staff were delightfully friendly. Cons: Reception were curt and not particularly welcoming, my room had no lockers, and the heating was unbearable. The shower cubicle had no curtain...

This... is the most wonderful hostel i've stayed at, since, oh.. see picture. i stayed in a lovely place in Manila once.... delightful cockroaches... but sadly, the hatters did not have roaches of cock. Still, the kitchen was fine, for cooking.. as... thank God... its large.. and no-one else was using it. Did me a nice stir-fry. Now.. the room....

i stayed here last week, i opted because of £15/night, the beds and toilets and shower room weren't clean. my bed in the dormitory appeared someone had just used it. bed linen and duvet looked untidy and smelt horrible. I used my coat jacket as a blanket. there was no hot water in the shower room, i was taken to...

Hipster hostel that's good for meeting people especially if you're a solo traveler. Has a kitchen/dining area where activities are held on top of the reception areas, where you can hang around. The room is pretty basic though, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast included was good and simple. Staff members are really nice. The only down side was it's...

Wednesday 8th March was quite possibly the worst night's sleep I have ever had due to this hostel's poor facilities and it's staff's complete disregard for reasonable customer service. Arriving much later than intended due to a flat tyre on the journey there, myself and three companions arrived at Hatters looking forward to the '4 bedroom dorm with en suit'...
