Detailed Reviews
The rooms are always very affordable and the staff (especially Eliza on reception) are very helpful, we originally were given a pretty small room and since we were there for a few mights it wouldn't have been big enough so we went down to reception and the lady at the desk was happy to give us another room that was bigger. The bathroom is small and the rooms do lack certain things that other hotels provide such as kettles and tables and chairs etc, but that's to be expected with such a low price. All in all, I will definitely be staying again and if you're on a budget or just don't think you'll spend lots of time in your room then its ideal, but if you're looking for a luxurious stay where you'll be spending lots of time in the room then it probably isn't for you. The location is also wonderful as it is right next to the train station, has a convenience store only a 1 minute walk away, and is also surrounded by restaurants and cafes, this can make it a little noisy on Saturday nights but we stayed on a sunday night as well and that was very peaceful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to directing me to places of interest in the city. One staff member called Smile was very helpful in looking after my luggage and providing me with extra towels when needed. Also received advice from a staff member about going to the local shop etc.

A clean, modern, and functional hotel in a brilliant location. Don't be in the least surprised that the rooms are very small in this hotel. Easyhotel are very keen on adding extra charges so be careful not to get caught out. Be aware that there is a lot of competition in this area, so you may find other hotels that are both cheaper and have better and larger rooms.

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The bed is comfy for one, but not queen or kingsize, so snug for two. The room facilities are meagre! Bed, lights, tv, one towel, one bathmat, one product that is hand-wash, shampoo and shower gel.
There is no kettle, no glass / mug, no chair, desk, or drawer. There are 2 fixed metal coat hangers on the wall and a shelf. My room had space for the suitcase at the end of the bed but my friend’s room had about 6 inches between bed and wall on 3 sides and was against the wall on the 4th, and about 3 feet x 18 inches along side the bathroom door. Snug!
The location is handy, within sight of New Street train station and a short walk from shops, restaurants etc.
You can hear every word said in the corridor outside your room.
Having said all this, it is very cheap, so you get what you pay for!

Starting with the positives just to be as objective as possible about this place: The location is the biggest point here, and the all the people at the reception were really nice, friendly and helpful apart from the realy extremely rude security guy who decided we deserve to be treated with disrespect (check out my story below)
Where do I start about the negative? They asked us to pay for the wifi, and we found cleaning items on our bed from whoever cleaned the room. The room was extremely small. We did not have any windows and no ventilation (as far as I know it's illegal to have no ventilation whatsoever - if they had it was not working in the room). One night we took a shower and water was coming in the room from the bathroom and we had to put towels around it, that's how small it was.
On a Friday night we were listening to radio while getting ready to go out. It was around 7-8 pm and the music was not loud at all; in fact the volume was pretty low. At some point a security man knocked on the door and told us to turn off the music completely. When we went downstairs to leave the building I asked them if somebody complained from the other guests and they said yes. Then I started asking questions regarding the volume as it was so so low, if we would have talked in the room it would have been louder than the music we were playing considering how small the room is and how thin is the door and the walls. The security man then switched up the story and said that he was just randomly walking in the corridor and heard the music and decided we have to switch it off. When I said to them that is not fair considering it's Friday, it's not loud and there were so many rooms around us playing music so loud and nobody switch it off he said that we can check out if we are not happy and move to another place without getting the money back. He was extremely rude in the words he used, he constantly talked over me and was not letting me finish my sentence, and he raised his voice on multiple occasions. How can you treat your customers like that when we paid for a place to stay without bothering anybody?
So is the hotel letting people rolling up joints inside and drinking vodka in the lobby but not letting people to play a bit of music on a Friday evening? Where was that security man then? I've always stayed in an Easy Hotel in every corner around the world and always loved my experience but this is by far the worst one ever! Extremely disappointed. I would not recomend this hotel to anybody!

Overall an okay stay, walls are quite thin - can hear next door rooms flushing, singing etc. and heard music from nearby club/pub(?). Mostly clean, few stray hairs on the pillow and small stain on the duvet, extra pillows and a hairdryer were provided when asked. Very basic amenities, small ensuite bathroom, TV and bed.

Provided basic needs for a night as published on the website , don't expect anything fancy as it is a budget hotel in my opinion fare price paid by US for a night. Would like to mention of the lovely lady checked us in and special thanks to the reception Steve who helped us with extra pillows and a quilt he's an amazing guy as this was our first time in Birmingham and gave few recommendation for food late night. Overall a good experience and basic

Quite nice for a budget hotel, even when we are staying in the city center, we can barely hear the noise outside. The staff are quite helpful, especially Snehal.
Things would be better if easyhotel can provide us better toilet roll and fix the mini problems in the room, though none of them actually affected our stay there.

We have just returned from a weekend stay at his hotel. We regularly use budget hotels such as premier inn and travel lodge when we have weekends away and never experience any issues. The positives I could find would be that the staff were really welcoming and friendly and more than happy to help. The location of the hotel is also great as it’s across the road from the train station and is right in the city centre so you have lots of facilities on your doorstep. However, the room was the smallest room I have ever seen or stayed in, it was a double bed that took up the whole room and a TV on the wall. There was no room around the bed at all. Very cramped and what I would liken to a padded cell. The noise was also something I have never experienced before in a hotel. The walls must have been made of paper as we could hear every single noise from the rooms either side of us. On the first morning I was woken to the sound of someone vomiting at 6am and then someone’s iPhone alarm going off at 7.30. I have never ever stayed in a hotel where you are able to hear so much from other peoples rooms. Another critique is that there was no catering facilities available. In premier inn you get a kettle, two mugs and coffee supplies in the room as well as two glass cups for water. There was nothing of the sort in this hotel so it you needed a glass of water you would have to go and purchase one from the vending machine downstairs. Also worth noting no room phone in the room so if you needed to contact reception possibly in an emergency, you would have to physically leave your room to do so, which for some people, particularly if they were in a vulnerable situation, wouldn’t be great. Overall, really negative experience.

Value for money. The bedrooms are uncluttered; bed, bin, coat hangers and a TV which cost extra to view but free WiFi was good. Well designed compact en suite. Friendly polite staff. Walking distance to O2 academy. NCP parking a few minutes walk away at reasonable 24 hour rates.
