Certificate of Excellence
A favourite with the townspeople, who use it variously as a watering-hole, The Rose & Crown is the place for a spot of lunch or a celebration dinner. Winning several national awards including being twice named in the Top Ten UK pubs in the last few years, The Rose & Crown also won Britain’s Best Brigade in 2017. We serve food all day, along with top-quality draught beers and have a carefully chosen wine list. Our thirteen en-suite B & B rooms have all the little comforts you’d find at home, popular for business and leisure stays.

Just popped in for brunch. The good: Nice, calm, clean, cosy environment inside; the staff were very friendly and helpful The bad: food was average and the portions were on the smaller side considering the price!

Is there a children's menu?
Didn’t see a dedicated kids menu but definitely had loads of variety and small dishes to suit children.

Is there car parking at The Rose and Crown?
Technically no, but lots of street parking and multi-storey behind the pub for a few quid.
