On our first visit to the area my husband and I were so pleased that we chose to stay at The Poplars. Judy and John were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were DELICIOUS with a very good choice. We hope to stay again and would definitely recommend to others.

The reason we couldn't stay longer was because regulars had booked this bed and breakfast farmhouse very early and that did not surprise us. The very large room, overlooking a picture-book English country view, was fantastic. Everything was there and pristine. A king size bed. Two comfortable armchairs. A writing desk and a bathroom out of an up-market magazine. Add... More

We only stayed one night, but what a welcome and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. We wish we had stayed for a few more nights, but we only had a few days to stay away. Would recommend to friends and family.

What can one say about this wonderful place? We've been going for some years now, and the first thing you are greeted with, apart from either Judy or John at the door, is that welcome pot of tea and home-made cakes and a chat. There are only three letting rooms, and all are a good size. There is a fridge... More

We stayed at the Poplars Farmhouse B&B over a long weekend in May. We loved it. It was perfect for our family of two adults, a two-year old, and young baby. Judith is a fabulous hostess: friendly, accommodating, great cook and baker. Breakfast was splendid, cooked to order with local honey and jams. We stayed in the large family room,... More

We needed somewhere to stay in the area before heading off to Birmingham airport and a trip to the States. We were greeted warmly by Judith, who served a much-needed cup of tea and a slice of her delicious cake. A lovely quiet place for sleep in the comfortable king-size bed. Since we had to leave ultra early in the... More

Poplars Farm B and B is a great place. The bedroom was large, clean and bright. The king size bed was very comfortable. On arrival we had a very warm welcome with a perfect cup of tea and the most beautiful light Victoria Sponge severed outside on the garden furniture. After a brilliant nights sleep we were severed a very... More

Just returned to Canada from a fabulous family trip to Wales and England. While most of the journey was in Wales, we choose the Cotswolds for the tail-end and stayed at the Poplars the nights of August 17 and 18, 2013. We wanted an open space for the kids to run around outside and comfortable and spacious rooms for them... More

“My sister, who has limited mobility, managed very well in room 2 with a walk-in shower ensuite. We had one night in room 1 and one in room 3. The private bathroom to room 3 was just that; we could go to & fro in complete privacy as there was a door between us and the rest of the house. Lovely views from all rooms; all good.”
