We stayed in a family room this week at half-term. You could not ask for a better place to stay or a more warm and welcoming family! Clean and attractively furnished room, very comfortable double and two proper singles for the children. There were more than enough fresh towels(face and bath towel for each person)- something that many establishments fail to...

We stayed here whilst attending a wedding in Stratford in July 2012 (the date of our stay on this review is wrong as it didn't go back that far!). The whole property was lovely, but our room (York) was super - just what we needed. The location was fab and we walked into town within minutes. We also took a...

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in Stratford in order to get away from the hustle and bustle of London for a weekend. Had a lovely Friday / Saturday night stay at the Emsley. Location perfect - just round the corner from the train station and a short walk into town. The owners were welcoming and didn't mind that...

First time my husband and I have stayed and we will be back. Pretty house just like a "Tardis" it goes on and up forever. Spotlessly clean real "Old School" care and attention. From the sparkling white table linen, with proper linen napkins, none of your paper ones here, to "comfy" bedrooms with lots of sockets-in the right places and...

The Emsley is a lovely Bed and Breakfast conveniently located near the train station. I stayed with a friend for one night in October and had a very good experience. Delicious breakfast, clean and cozy room (Norfolk), friendly managers and quiet area. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for the lovely review, it is much appreciated. Really nice hosts (thank you for all the great tips what to do and see in Stratford!), cosy atmosphere, very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, clean and nice room (even though it would have been good to know that there is a dog in the house for an allergic person like me). Still all in all we enjoyed our stay at...

Thank you for doing a review, it is much appreciated and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the dog, we do not mention it because it is not normally an issue. The dog lives in the back of the house and is not permitted anywhere where guests may be. Sometimes guests ask to meet the dog and she...

We are so pleased with our stay at Emsley Guest House back in August. The room we booked was large enough to comfortably accommodate our family of four with plenty of space to spare. Thank you for taking the time and trouble to do a review, it is really appreciated. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay - and the bath tub! So many Guest Houses rip out baths in preference for showers but we find a lot of guests really appreciate having the choice. Thanks again for staying with us. Best wishes,...
