I booked 4 nights at the Travellers Rest on the strength of the excellent reviews on this site. A great decision. I travelled to Stratford-Upon Avon by train, with my bike. I was at address in less than 5 minutes after arrival. It is about 10 minutes straight walk from the station. The town centre is approx 15/20 minutes walk.... More

A very comfy stay with excellent hosts. John and Cheryl were so welcoming and the stay was completed by a delicious breakfast in the morning. A great location so near to town with everything on hand. I would not hesitate to recommend the Travellers Rest to anyone wishing for a homely stay with wonderful hosts.

From the first welcome I knew I had made the right choice, John and Cheryl welcomed me with a warm smile. There is enough space to safely park your car, upon entering there is a nice sized dining room available to use if you wish to bring food back in the evening. The rooms are clean and well decorated with... More

Really warm welcome by the hosts. A lovely appointed room with ample room and bathroom. Nice and quiet and a really comfy bed. Free wi fi and use of the dining room should you want to bring a take away back. The breakfast was I have to say, excellent. Perfectly cooked well presented and a proper full English as well... We recently stayed here for 3 nights with our two children. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The rooms are a little on the small side but very clean and comfortable. It was nice touch to get a fan in the hot weather! The breakfasts were excellent and the hosts very helpful and welcoming it is good value for money. We... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Travellers Rest for three nights over the recent Bank Holiday weekend and it couldn’t have been better. The hotel was nice and homely and hosts John and Cheryl went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. They were happy for us to arrive late in the evening, remembered our breakfast orders... Wonderful place, nothing too much. I stayed here before running the Shakespeare Marathon. They managed to get the perfect breakfast for me (which is very important to me) and the bed was very comfy. Everything was perfect.

During our summer trip to England, my son and I found the Travellers Rest Guest House in Stratford-upon-Avon to be one of our favorite B & Bs. Parking is provided on site, and our room was modern, spotless, light-filled, and quiet, despite being on a main road. A lovely tea service was provided, as was a fan, a nice addition... More

Lovely accommodation. John and Cheryl were welcoming and very helpful with things to do suggestions and money off vouchers. Friendly relaxed environment. Breakfast was delicious and variety of things available. Central to the town, but peaceful.
