Good quiet and comfy bedroom. Hotel in a great central location, short walk to the theatre. The hotel bar and foyer very busy and informal. Food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast great choice and cooked well.

Have stayed several times but not for a year or so. Still excellent. Clean, comfortable, relaxing rooms. Excellent dining possibilities in the building. Great position. Pleasant staff. Parking! En-suite updated but still those awkward wardrobe doors! Will stay again.

Good location. Dinner was good quality served quickly (had tickets for the RSC which is a pleasant 5 min walk away over the river). Most of the rooms are in a more recently built block - not the old bit you see on the pictures. Worst thing is them shoving this tripadvisor review form at you when you've agreed to...

We stayed for a birthday weekend over Easter. The location is ideal for exploring the town, river & surrounding countryside. Reception staff were helpful & check in was prompt at 3pm as stated, though my request through booking.com for an early check in wasn't possible. The Bear pub & the onsite bistro both serve tasty, reasonably priced food & have...

We took advantage of a special dinner, bed & breakfast offer to spend three nights during the week at this hotel. We enjoyed our stay and thanks to the offer we had very good value for money. The bedroom was a good size, clean and comfortable if a bit dated and the bathroom would benefit from a bit of TLC....

under wellmed for the price. Good central location, hotel aimed at foreign tourists, well the prices are anyway. Room clean but with a charge of £19.50 for each breakfast on principle we walked into town 5 min away.

I stayed on a Friday night with my wife, we had booked a restaurant in town so the hotels location was good. We didn't use the bar, restaurant or pool so can't comment there. Our room was clean but dated. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The room was very hot, the aircon worked but sounded like a cars...

We found the cost for the night to be very high. The fan in the bathroom was hanging off the wall and the tv remote was broken. Also I found the shower head not easy as no adjustment to move it. We thought the hotel room was not really value for money.

This lovely old building is part pub, restaurant and hotel and in a prime position overlooking the canal and long boats. Only 5 mins walk into town it is well situated for anyone visiting Stratford. The room was a generous size, clean and comfortable with high quality towels, bathrobes and toiletries. The room was quiet, nicely decorated and a better...
