We booked our stay at the Westland over 2 months in advance of our trip to Newcastle. Our booking was for a Double Room with en-suite bathroom. I did not even get to stay at this hotel, but called to enquire about rates. I was confronted by a rude woman who hung the phone up twice and refused to speak to me. When I requested a manager, she called me a name I would not repeat and hung up a third time!! The website claims friendly staff...
