Stayed here over the Easter weekend as part of a surprise weekend away so this was booked by my boyfriend and it was a great choice. We arrived and the receptionist was lovely and really helpful - we had one of the newly refurbished rooms and it was decorated to a high standard, and a nice little touch was a...

Although the hotel was undergoing renovations, this didn't affect our stay. The room had been recently refurbished and had everything you would expect. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location was great ,within walking distance of the city centre , the railway station and the quayside. Breakfast was booked as an extra and was eaten in the adjoining...

The hotel was under renovation but we knew this when we booked. There was no disruption from the works taking place. The location is ideal for exploring Newcastle. When we arrived the reception staff were really welcoming and friendly. We had one of the newly decorated twin rooms and it was very nice. Not a massive room but more than...

Visited this hotel for my best friends hen weekend. Hotel is very nice currently undergoing a makeover. But please don't let this put you off. All the rooms we had were finished to a very high standard, very modern and clean. Staff are very nice and friendly and nothing was too much trouble when we asked. I had a suite...

Great location, easy access to the centre of Newcastle. However, for the price paid expected more - our rooms didn't feel of a 4* quality! The room we were allocated was as hot as a sauna and the bathroom was unbearable. It was also nowhere near as spacious as advertised and the complimentary robes that were included in our package...

Great location within walking distance of city centre and right in the centre of restuarants and bars. Hotel reception undergoing refurbishment which detracts from the welcome. Room comfortable and well sound proofed - great for protecting two old ladies from the raucous night life.

Currently being refurbished which obviously causes some disruption. Im sure it will be nice when its finished, but at the moment wasnt overwhelmed by it. The room however was clean, comfortable and well equiped.

We recently stayed at this hotel on an exceptionally good price deal. We travelled to Newcastle by train, the hotel was very easy to find, and the check in procedure was smooth and efficient. We were told that the hotel was undergoing a major refurbishment and as a result of this we were uprated to a much larger bedroom than...

I was at college locally but needed a stay over at Newcastle for a night so booked this hotel. The room was great, the location very central but the big problem was breakfast, which I had paid for. I just couldn't find or get a way into the breakfast area with the instructions given by staff leading to a door...
