I stayed here for one night in August 2015 for business purposes. The good points: Location wise, the hotel is in a great position, really close to all the bars, shops, and restaurants, so on that point I can't fault it. There is also a reasonable amount of parking out the back for anyone with a car. The rest of...

The receptionists were not very helpful When heading upstairs tripped on the loose carpet, the room, carpet was grubby , thread bare, and loose, bedding, well my dogs sleep on better, the room lighting, would have been better...

This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I booked it to have somewhere to crash at the end of walking Hadrian's wall. Obviously, at the time of booking it, I did not realise it was so dreadful! The entrance is through the bin area of a strip joint. Not kidding! I actually had trouble finding the...

To be fair as they say you get what you pay for. £162 for three nights in height of summer in a hotel smack in the middle of Newcastle city centre this isn't a Hilton!. I had a double room, on second floor. the bed was comfortable and towels clean and hot water and shower worked. Surtees is a listed...

Firstly we were greeted by a receptionist who laughed when I asked if there was anywhere near by to park my car (even though the hotel is situated next door to a multi-storey car park). The entrance to the hotel is actually round the back of the building so not the easiest to find, however, it is in a great...

First impressions not good - the hotel doesn't actually have entrance signs and is wrapped around the back of a 'Brewdog'. We waited in the reception area for around 10 minutes until someone came to the desk to check us in. When we got to our room, Cleaning staff were sitting on the stairs/around our room talking about other members...

Stayed here with friends at the weekend. We had 2 double bedrooms on the third floor. Was worried about the stay after the numerous terrible reviews on here. Do not believe. One of the rooms (39) was a lot larger than the other but 35 was ample size. Both rooms had shower gels, biscuits, a kettle and iron provided. Very...
