Brilliant stay from start to finish..checked in, very friendly reception staff as was there to watch a concert and didn't know Newcastle at all. The lady got a map out showed us where we was and which way we needed to head to the bars and metro link and gave us a card of a local taxi firm they use...

I was a bit concerned when the taxi driver dropped me off at this Premier Inn - it looked more like a hole in the wall and the reception area inside is pretty small. I had to check I was in the right place! Two floors up, though, there is a spacious bar area and, beyond that, a large restaurant....

Reasonably priced hotel in central location, breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom could do with a bit of a refurbishment but was clean and had everything you need. Free wifi was also good

Stayed here for 3 nights with the in-laws for rugby world cup games. Friendly staff and free luggage storage while we returned our hire car. We were expecting the same high quality rooms we recently experienced during our stay at the Premier Inn in Cardiff but unfortunately this hotel doesn't match up. The bed was comfy enough but our room...

Again disgusted by the company policy to hike room rates and impose 3 day minimum bookings for the Rugby World Cup venues. However, remember you can cancel those unwanted nights in advance of your stay. This premier inn is tired but functional. Spoiled by the excellence of Cardiff premier inn recently!

This premier is looking tired with inadequate blow heating which was noisy. The bed was comfy, room a little on the small side for a longer stay. The bath was very narrow, staff were were very good and helpful.

I stayed here for one night last night and I am impressed with the level of customer service! There was two fire alarms over the course of the night which although annoying were caused by a technical problems so completely put of the staffs control and not their fault, they stuck to their good night guarantee and I was issued...

Located in city centre easy walking distance to all the main attractions and shopping area. I found the bedroom quiet and comfortable The staff were friendly and helpful. The standard WiFi connection was easy to use and reasonably fast

I booked the Premier Inn Newcastle Central purely for it's reasonable rates and proximity to St James' Park, where I was attending a Rugby World Cup match. My expectations of the hotel were far exceeded, and my stay was fantastic in every aspect. Although the entrance to the hotel is perhaps not the most aesthetically pleasing, once inside, everything is...

We stayed at the hotel for the World Cup rugby, not only was the hotel rundown, dingy and dirty, we were not allowed to have guests in our room for a night cap. A thoroughly unpleasant experience, staff were rude and unwelcoming, I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
