Why, oh why would you offer hotel rooms to the public in the midst of a refurbish? Access to upper floors via a dusty fire escape, plenty of temporary lighting cables, and wet paint to avoid. An out of order lift was the icing on the cake. The hotel staff put on a brave face, and were as helpful as...

Was a first time visit to Newcastle and we stayed in the premier inn (17th - 19th) and absolutely loved it there. From the minute we walked through the door the staff couldn't do enough for us from advising us on the best places to visit for food and shopping to giving us directions to get around the centre. Even...

This premier inn is currently undergoing refurbishment so there was disruption and dirt. The refurbished rooms are lovely and when finished it will be fine. The other point is location not the best for walk into city. But overall fine.

This is situated close to the river and offers a great view. There are several restaurants 10-15 minutes walk away. Although there was renovation going on this place is comfortable and quiet. Would definately use again if staying in newcastle. Parking is on site which costs £5 for 24 hours.

It seems out of the way but it's only a 20 minute walk into town. This hotel is peaceful, very clean and newly refurbished. best night's sleep I've had in ages! The breakfast is also great value and the staff are very cheerful & obliging The quayside is only a 5 minutes walk.

Rooms very nice, one smelt of smoke not very nice and corridors had a strong smell of paint. restaurant closed so couldn't get anything to eat. Bar also closed early. Didn't seem enough staff on duty and fire exit sign still directing you to fire exit...

2 rooms booked on special rate at 50quid a night... not anywhere near premier Inn standard. I'd suggest staying here if you like the following: - uncomfortable beds - rooms smelling of stale urine - corridors with the remnants of someone's pizza from the night before - noise at all hours - people chapping on your door at 3am -...

Our 3rd stay at this Premer Inn and whilst beautifully refurbished, it's customer service let us down this time. We had telephoned early in the week (as we had been advised to by staff on our previous visit) to request a 2nd floor, quieter room at the back of the building and told this would not be a problem. However...

The Premier Inn was in the midst of a refurbishment when we arrived. The top floor had been completed and so we were given a nice comfortable room. The room has all you need for a pleasent stay, including those dream inducing beds. Unfortunately the banging and noise from the floor below started far too early for guests looking for...
