We stayed for 2 nights for a family gathering. We were in the old part of the hotel on the first floor. The plumbing was amazing, I must have woken up the whole hotel when I turned on the cold tap into bathroom, the pipes started to bang uncontrollably. When I mention waking people up, that might be stretching it...

Staff were friendly, bar area, reception and restaurant as seen on website, our bedroom was very dated, really cold when entered, however managed to get the heating working and soon warmed up, rooms need a much required makeover, plastic beakers in plastic bags for drinking water out of, proper glass's would make an improvement. Breakfast was good, and plenty of...

I really wanted to enjoy and like this hotel, as I visited to celebrate am anniversary with my boyfriend, but unfortunately it was just not up to standard. Laminated signs showing you to rooms, a scrappy Stannah lift and scuffed walls and carpet in corridors sadly set the tone on the way to our room. The website shows updated rooms,...

This hotel was located on the high street of Haslemere and was within walking distance of quaint coffee shops, stores, a farm and an awesome museum. The front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful and we never did know what was included with our room. There was a gym, pool and restaurant onsite but whether we were permitted...

On the whole, we had a pleasant stay, staff were lovely throughout. We had a lovely room, large size with all the usual facilities. I'm afraid to say the bathroom wasn't up to scratch. The tap covers fell off in our hands, we had a room in the front of the hotel, so we had beams in the bathroom which...

Thank you for your wonderful review. As a privately run hotel we take enormous pride in our hotel and we are constantly seeking to improve its facilities and service. The bathroom in question does unfortunately have a low ceiling over the bath and shower which does make it awkward for our taller guests. It is also the only bathroom in...

On check in found that our booked twin room was actually a small double with a child's decorative Day bed as second bed. No way! Was immediately changed to a very cold room, so cold there was a stand alone electric heater supplied! Wall so thin that we could hear every word of conversation next door, their tv, and peeing...

Dear Leoleodis We were obviously disappointed to receive your review and wanted to address a few of your concerns. The hotel is undergoing a significant transformation and a lot of the elements to the hotel have or are being updated. We are moving away from the old 'key' system and implementing digital touchpad for all doors. Security has never been...

My daughter and I had a surprise 90th birthday party for my dad on sunday. We had afternoon tea which consisted of various sandwiches, cake and scones, and tea and coffee which we could help ourselves to. The food was very nice, as was the function room which we were allowed to decorate beforehand. Many thanks to Brodie, who I...

Just had a quick one night stay and was not disappointed with room, No 7. Though this room was on the street side it had loads of character, this room was spacious with a very comfortable 4 poster bed. The only complaint i had was with the breakfast they didnt ask how i wanted it cooked and found it greasy...

We stayed here for a family function in the area. We first stayed here 10+ years ago for a wedding. The hotel seemed identical to our last visit. It's in a nice small town, classic building, and great staff. I have to say however, that the property needs updating. The rooms are in need of refurbishment, the beds are very...

Dear jviel. Thank you for your review. As a privately owned hotel we do appreciate all constructive criticism. Since taking over the hotel in May last year the hotel has embarked on a slow but steady refurbishment. There are parts of the hotel that still require updating but we are certainly getting there and the carpets have certainly been identified...
