We stayed here for just a couple of nights after booking it in a hurry. A relative then informed us it was right next to the dual carriageway so we took earplugs expecting a couple of sleepless nights. We had a room at the back that was so peaceful it could've been out in the middle of nowhere. Wonderfully friendly...

My wife and I stayed at The Grove House Hotel for a short break. Being on the edge of Wood bridge made it an ideal place to stay. With easy access to the surrounding area. Suffolk has a lot to offer, and a lot to see and do. The hotel makes an ideal base.

This was a fab find. Central to most attractions; most were less than 20 miles away and some less than 10. The host was warm and welcoming and had taken the trouble to put us in adjoining rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet and well furnished. A nice set of tea, coffee and biscuits with bottled water. The breakfast...

We arrived there on one of the hottest days of the year and when showed our room, were dismayed to find it was a very small twin room at the front of the hotel on a very busy main road. The room was triple glazed and this would have been enough to keep the road noise out, except the weather...

Well appointed hotel with nice grounds and ample parking. Nice personal check-in showing us to rooms and imparting information. Rooms nice, comfortable bed, good tea and coffee facilities and welcome addition of bottled water. Bathroom good but in need of a face lift. Very slow toilet cistern. Nice powerful shower but decoration/fittings in bathroom needs a refresh. Breakfast excellent quality...

The people were very friendly and room very clean. Plenty of choices for breakfast and very quick with the service. Our only complaint would be that you cannot get coffee and tea in the bar when the other guests are having an alcoholic beverage.

Visited this hotel a couple of times with work. Paul and team go to great lengths to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including staying late, opening the bar just for me and keeping a solo traveller company. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Breakfast is more than generous. Couldn't ask for more.

An unpretentious family hotel, reasonably priced and with quality furnishings and services. There is a nicely appointed restaurant serving excellent evening meals and superb breakfasts, all very well cooked. Our room was most commodious and very well furnished including a ver comfortable bed.

Stayed two nights - chosen to be a base to go to Sutton Hoo. A good choice as the room was comfortable and well-equipped with spotless shower room. The breakfast was very good with gluten free options. Service was friendly and attentive. Our room - at the back - was quiet despite the hotel being on a main road (and...
