Room was freezing, and the staff unhelpful - heard them being very rude to someone who had the temerity to complain that the kids beds were set up in a dangerous position. Better alternatives nearby, so avoid at all costs.

Very friendly staff, excellement food and loads of it. Would definitely recommended the Sunday lunch as well. Good value for money. Good friendly atmosphere. Only down fall was it was a little bit chilly inside at the beginning of the meal but soon warmed up.

Arrived at property at midnight having been to a function nearby. Allocated room in serious need of attention and was colder than outside. Manager/owner had terrible attitude when asked for some help in warming the room. Cooked breakfast barely edible and tasteless. Never again.!!!!!

If you have already booked and cannot cancel I feel sorry for you. This pub is run down, the rooms are dirty and I had a separate bathroom across a corridor with no heating apart from a towel rail that did not work. The radiator in the bedroom was on full and could not be controlled BUT worst of all...

Stayed a few nights in September and although the bed was very comfortable, the property is a bit run down for example, the paint in the bathroom was peeling. The breakfast was great so overall, we had a comfortable stay.

We stayed here for two nights......booked a year in advance as we were going to a wedding, we were in the family room which is directly above the bar, on the first night that we arrived there was live karaoke on which was extremely noisy....on enquiring what time the music was turned off I was told 11.30pm it actually went...

Charlie and his wife, and staff, made us feel very welcome. Lovely clean , big room with lots of character. Parking at the rear. Nice games room. Meals were also lovely and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. :)

We expected more for the price we paid. We were surprised to find black hairs in the sink and a dirty mug next to the toilet. There was also Cobb webs over the bed. Service was slow at breakfast but the breakfast was decent.

Stayed for 2 nights and opted for the superior room. The room itself was big, but the bed was only a standard double. It was clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly enough, however there were lots of niggling things that let it down: No information/wifi password or even a pen in the room. I never managed to...
