A pleasing hotel. We had a lovely relaxinging stay, made even better by the fact that we could take our little dog and stay in a superior room. We booked the dinner, bed and breakfast option. We enjoyed our dinner and a good selection is offered to choose from for breakfast. Good friendly service too!. My only, hopefully positive criticism,...

Very warm welcome and quick check in. Reception area very nice with log fire. Bedroom great with very comfortable bed. Had a nice meal in the restaurant and service was good. Set in a nice out of town environment and well tended grounds. Well recommended.

All fur coat and no knickers - looks the part however the food is very poor quality. The man who owns or manages the hotel (not sure which)? is rude and arrogant (Craig). I couldn't in good faith recommend this restaurant.

The quality of the room and food were excellent for the price. Arrived on a cold winters evening. Shown to the room by friendly staff. Very nice furnishings - looks like a recent make-over. Food was high quality and decent portions. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent (lovely Stornoway black pudding!). Only slight quibble was electric shower which went...

So very very disappointed. Went along with 5 others tor Xmas dinner, we all came away rather shocked and surprised as had expected a lot more. The ambience was rather staid, no welcome drink on arrival, no festive music, the food we didn't rate at all and the staff were making up the tables around us either for a later...

What a lovely hotel! Staff were all so friendly and service was excellent. We booked late so had 2 rooms in the Mews (1 & 5), both described online as "compact" & that they are! Very cute, in a way we felt like we were staying in a gypsy caravan - yes that small! But I loved them, cozy for...

Food was simply not good and it was only steak and chips! It used to be great here with a great atmosphere we used to sit in the restaurant for dinner and then a different restaurant for breakfast but this time they just placed us in the bar the whole time! And it was not busy! Food is no where...

We went back to Ravenwood for the second year in a row at the same time between xmas and new year. Just the most cosy warm compact old house with wonderful friendly staff. The only thing needed is a chef to do breakfasts properly but a small price to pay for such a beautiful place. A real treat.

My partner and I took our grandparents out for afternoon tea. I had rung up in advance to tell them that one of our party was gluten and dairy free. They were very polite and said they would of course cater for them. When we showed up we sat in the lounge and waited for the rest of the party...

Dear Guest, I am so pleased to read such positive comments regarding your afternoon tea with us we are renowned for them in Suffolk. However I am sad to hear the service was not of our usual high standard. I will of course past your comments onto our General Manager, who will follow this up with the team. Best Wishes
