I stayed one night as I had an exam the following day. The single room I requested was perfect, nipping clean, spacious and I had a desk as I requested while making the booking. The staff are fab, friendly and helpful. The shower facilities are shared but that's fine, there are plenty so no queues. The cubicles are big enough...

Another great stay here & staff are so friendly & helpful. There is so much to do & see if you walk along or drive to Norton village there are small owner shops very friendly atmosphere which is lost in the bigger multi national shops. If you have or hire a car you can drive to Redcar/Whitby/Durham to visit historical...

Extremely happy with our room and service. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was also very nice. We had a lovely stay and we would definitely return again if we ever go back. We had a room with an en-suit which was really nice. The guest house was extremely clean and nicely decorated.

Was made to feel welcome at the kings wood , room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. Was close to Stockton town centre and the Arc where we were going to see a gig on the evening of our stay. All in all a fantastic stay.

Very clean, friendly and incredibly cheap for this standard. All you ever need is a short walk away in Norton village. Very handy for all the attractions with 30 miles or so of Teesside and the surrounding area.

Nice place, good room for our one night stay, nice bathroom, except smell from maceration toilet. Lovely service with tea and cakes ready prepared. Would go again if for a short stay, only saw one type of room though.

Great quality accommodation and very good value. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I'm an insomniac, but I had a really good night's undisturbed sleep here. Guest house is really convenient for bars and restaurants in the village of Norton.
