We booked the plough motel to stay during a visit too Alton towers. The booking was made 4 weeks before our visit and we received all the relevant paperwork confirming our booking including an e-mail a week before. Our car journey took longer than expected (8 hours) so I phoned the motel informing them we would be a little late...

There was a smell of mould throughout the room and mould growing in every corner of the bath/shower. The bed was clean however the...

I had read really bad reviews about this place but had already booked it so it was to late to change. However when we arrived at the Motel it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong it's not a palace but for what we paid it was ok. The room was basic but it...

I am happy with a "cheap and cheerful" motel, this was cheap but certainly not cheerful. The carpet in the room was filthy and badly stained, the room had a stale smell and the duvets were so old they were flat as pancakes. The walls were paper thin meaning you could hear absolutely everything happening in the neighbouring rooms from...

Me & my boyfriend had booked to go to Alton Towers on Friday 20th June 2014, so we booked a hotel which was sort of close but on our way home (Gloucestershire). We stayed there for 2 nights. The room we stayed in (54) was clean and tidy, a few marks on the chair. The bathroom was clean which i...

My friend had a Bacardi and coke instead. When we went to get another drink and asked for another...

My husband and I stayed when going to the Britannia Stadium for a concert and have to say this place is ideally situated. Takes about 15 minutes to walk and is well signposted. However the new manager really ought to learn some people skills. On the day we arrived there was staff sickness and his way of dealing with it...
