I have stayed here twice and cannot fault the staff or service. The accommodation is good for what you pay.(creaky floor boards as well :-)) It has all you require i.e. Clean sheets, clean space, clean bathroom. Also for the money, the food is good and you shouldn't leave hungry. (unless you're fussy).

The room was clean and quite serviceable. The meals were buffet style but being a vegetarian was stuck with one option for evening meal as the salad options were limited due to chef putting pate on salad plate and we don't just eat lettuce and potato salad.Perhaps a little more thought than curry and pasta .all in all service was great...

I stayed 2 nights whilst I was visiting my daughter. The room was faultless - breakfast was Travel lodge standard. A breakfast buffet with hot food served cold and tea bags needing 2 to make a decent cup. Although tea bag in the bedroom were excellent. There is a café at the Station which is across the road.

Recently stayed at this hotel on a National Holidays break. The evening meal the first evening was disappointing ( May Day Bank Holiday), but thereafter meals were excellent, good quality & plenty of choice. Hotel retains much of its original character but rooms were clean & well maintained which, having read recent reviews, rather surprised me. Very good value for...

We spent a night at the hotel on a Friday (family of 5). This is a 3 star hotel so do not expect extra luxury. It has a lot of character with original features. The rooms were clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. The diner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were very kind. The price was correct. The location...

Stayed overnight whilst on a short visit to the area. First impressions were not great and the receptionist was a bit offhand when we arrived a bit early. Like the hotel the room was dated but very clean. The kitchen exhaust fans outside our window did not help but we were so tired from a long drive that we fell...

I was visiting Stoke for a reunion stayed at the North Staffs Hotel as it was the closest to the event. The building could be amazing both inside and out. It is a very large traditional old building with many original features. Sadly it has been poorly kept over the years and in need of an entire refurbishment inside and...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on the Easter weekend. As it was a bank holiday we expected that there might be a party held in the hotel; we were in room 237 which is right above the "Ballroom" where there was a wedding party on, the music was very very loud and carried on until midnight. I...

Just came back from a quick visit to Stoke. The locatoin was great. Step off the train and it is just across the road. It is owned by Britannia group. They need to update the hotel roo.s and some of the other areas of the hotel. The bar area was nodern and well durnished. However the rooms were dated and...
