We stayed at the Sherston for one night in December 2016. The hotel has good areas for parking. the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have been at the Sherston for about 6 months and according to them the hotel is a work in progress. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It faced the garden and was...

This Pub is located just off the main roundabout of the A371 and A39 Glastonbury Road, so road noise is an inescapable fact of life if you stay here, the windows are single glazed sliding sash. You can also hear the music from the pub, which is on all the time, in some ways this is more irritating than the...

Just stayed here for one night. Very warm welcome from the hosts. Hotel room has everything you need, is warm, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Didnt sample the bar food as the pub was closed on sunday night that I arrived. Will definately stay here again when travelling to Wells. have to say I was a bit put off...

We stayed here in Room 3 for one night and loved it, very reasonable price too. Even though it is under new management and being refurbished, our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The bathroom was absolutely huge, about the size of some other hotel rooms. The bar area is very cosy and there's an excellent pool table....

We chose to stay at the Sherston for two nights as an affordable city break, as it was far more reasonably priced than the other options in Wells. It is very conveniently located, just a ten minute walk into the centre of the city, with free parking. The room was a nice size and well decorated with nice soft towels...

My room at the Sherston inn was good with a good size double bed and an en-suite however the room was not cleaned during my 4 night stay and the tea and coffee was never re-filled. When I checked in the man behind the pub bar didn't know how to check me in so I was told to come back...

Asked for cooked breakfast, told no problem. owners not up as sleeping the previous night off so had to settle for self service of cereals. Outstanding service from start to finish. These guys could not do enough for us, they helped with planning, were super-accomodating, and were really welcoming to all our friends and family. The building is a fantastic setting for any event, and the beer garden is beautiful during the day or in the evening. Cannot recommend this place or the staff highly...

Nice Sunday lunch with kids and some friends. Limited menu with only beef or lamb but food came really quickly and loads of veg with it. Play area in garden is ideal for kids up to about 10 and completely enclosed so very safe. Staff friendly and helpful and lunch good value.
