Ellie and Ham were very welcoming. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING! The position, close to the city centre was brilliant for visiting and for eating in the evening with the advantage of good parking. I will be returning next time I'm in Wells and have already told my friends about Belleview House.

Ellie's and Ham's hospitality is insurmountable even by English standards. We met when we visited Wells to settle in our son to high school and we were in need for reliable people near our son's school. They have been his second parents since then and we can't thank them enough. As to the rooms and breakfast, they are as much...

From the very first email exchange I felt Ellie's warmth and friendliness. She made the booking process so easy for us. My friend and I stayed in a beautiful twin room, any additional help that we needed was no problem at all and she was incredibly flexible which was such a help for us. The breakfasts were simply superb and...

From our first contact with Belleview House in making reservations for our visit of five nights, we experienced the finest hospitality anyone could hope to find. The location is on a busy street, but it gets very quiet at night. The room we had (it looks like the one pictured above) is on the back side and overlooks a lovely...

Stayed for the second time at this fab b&b, excellent rooms, service and food. Excellent position ten minute to cathedral and town with best breakfast we've had and Ellie can't do enough for you with homemade shortbread in room and cup of tea and cake upon arrival. Always highly recommend to friends. Kathleen

We have just returned from a very enjoyable 3 night break staying at Belleview House. A warm welcome from the owners and a tray of tea and homemade cake brought to our room on arrival. Our room was warm and comfortable, and breakfast superb with a wonderful choice from the buffet table and cooked menu. Leave your car parked and...
