Stayed here during the hot summer. Downside: difficult to find, crowded room with very few outlets, very hot with no moving air (not offered a fan). Upside: nice outdoor breakfast area, easy walk into the main part of Bath. Bottom line: it's ok but would probably recommend a place on Pultney street.

My partner and I spent 2 nights as part of a short break in Bath. We selected the Orangery from a number of available hotels as we wanted to avoid the blandness of a chain hotel and to stay somewhere that reflected the history of the city... This proved to be a great choice. Quintessentially english and packed with charm...

My husband and I knocked on the doors of Queen Charlotte's Orangery late in the afternoon without reservation- we initially intended to pass through Bath on our way to London but quickly changed our plans when we saw that Bath had a lot more to offer than what can be seen in a few hours. We were welcomed straight away...

We spent the first 2 nights of our honeymoon this September at the Orangery. We stayed in the larger room with private bathroom and huge bed (very comfortable!). If you prefer the uniform anonymity of a chain hotel then this is not the place for you. If however you would be pleased with a slightly eccentric(but very friendly) host, a...

Myself and my husband stayed for 3 nights just before Christmas. We had a fantastic time. Quirky and unexpected, from the door in the wall, the circular rooms and our lovely suite with the amazing bed and furniture. Our host was attentive and extremely helpful, but not over the top. And Sailor greeting us each day as we came out...

We spent three nights at the Orangery Location was central and quiet Our hosts were delightful. informative, attentive but not intrusive The garden courtyard was a delight, breakfasts were tops and our room - the suite - was comfortable and spotlessly clean After a difficult time on flooded European rivers this respite was just what we needed So much to...

Disappointing. Looked fab on the web site, but everything was just too weird. The rooms were off a central circular room. I could hear people eating breakfast whilst in our room. When I went to the bathroom there was a guest outside the window on the phone. The room was shabby - too many old pictures and ornaments. On our...

Fantastic! We spent three relaxing days in Bath for our 25th wedding anniversary,The Orangery was the perfect accommodation . In our experience, all the positive reviews about this place were true! The slight quirkiness makes this small hotel completely unique and it was a pleasure to stay there. Many thanks to Greg and Denise.

This is a great hotel, I've never stayed anywhere quite like it. Very ornate which we liked but it is a question of taste, only 3 rooms I think, maybe 4. I don't mean this rudely but it has a sort of disorganised Fawlty-esque feeling about it, but in a lovely way. Greg and Denise, the owners are so friendly and...

Could not have wished for a more beautiful setting to stay. We spent a blissful weekend here and will most definitely return at some point soon. Ideally located, just a short walk from Bath's centre. Tea on arrival in the patio/garden area was most welcome and a parking pass for your vehicle to boot. The room was utterly charming and...
