Elgin Villa is in a quiet neighbourhood, about a ten minute walk to the centre of Bath. There's a shortcut to the Royal Crescent behind the property, which Peter, the host, kindly showed us. Our double room, with a shower in the corner, was basic (shared bathroom on landing below was fine) but comfortable and spacious enough. Breakfast consists of...

I had originally booked lodging in Corsham for a conference there, canceled due to a family emergency. Bath turned out to be a better location in any event. We had a room on the second floor, known in the U.S. as the third floor. There is no elevator and no WiFi. Our room was in a converted attic. My husband...

Visited this 'Out of Time' B & B in June this year and I must say its to be avoided. I dont usually like giving bad reviews but it was a big letdown. Having chosen here because it looked small & friendly, the breakfast was indeed small! Every part of the miniscule morsals seem to have been sparingly counted out....

We stayed in the triple room which had a huge window with very pleasant views.Paid parking is available which is a big plus. Breakfast is pleasant. Tourist destinations are within easy walking distance. Some great eating experiences close by. Free wifi is available but seems to work only on the steps outside your room. My only advice is not to...

After many years of travelling I have never written a review before but just felt I had to on this occasion as I felt ripped off...!! This B&B is very tired & dated, (much like the owners).. Shabby dated double room.. very small tv (we struggled to see the picture from the bed), tv wire hanging off wall.. the tiny...

5 of us had one night in two rooms and found it to be a very comfortable b&b with good size rooms. The location was very good and central. Breakfast was a bit basic for the price paid. Parking at rear of property was good and owner let us leave car there after check out while we were site seeing.

This B&B was very well located. Near The Royal Crescent and Victoria Park. Walking to the City Centre was easy, as was The Circus and the Southgate Centre. This made going out for dinner at a wide selection of restaurants an easy walk also. Parking was provided in the rear of the villa. The room was abit cozy for 3...
