Stayed one night in the four-poster room. Fabulous huge room with king-sized bed. The room was really cold and took a while to heat up, unfortunately we could not get the heating in the bath room to turn on. The staff was all amazingly friendly, overall it was a very relaxing and laid back experience. We had dinner and breakfast... More

We stayed here overnight whilst dropping my daughter off at University. We didn't arrive until about 21.00 hrs having spent the afternoon & early evening in Bath. The hotel is easy to find, with plenty of parking. The signs for the hotel entrance led us to a dead end, so we went into the pub itself to check in. Sorry... More

We had a lovely meal in here- took a while to come but I think it was because everything was cooked fresh. My daughter had a great mushroom burger, a big flat mushroom with hash browns and cheese in a ciabatta roll whilst my cod was certainly freshly battered and very tasty. And all for under £20.

We stayed for just 1 night as we were in the area to watch a friend in a play. The pub downstairs is warm and inviting and the pub food well priced, delicious and with very generous proportions. They also seem to have a daily happy hour from 3-7pm (though we didn't partake of this). Our room (#7) involved climbing... More

Stayed overnight here after a day in Bath. I was really pleased with our stay. The staff were very welcoming, the evening meal we had was very good. The breakfast had a nice variety to choose from. Me, my partner and our 2 year old stayed for 2 nights while visiting friends. I was unsure of the hotel from reading the reviews and with it being an old building but we were very happy with our room. We had a bath which was perfect for our daughter. The beds were ok but did give us bad backs.... More

The hotel is currently under new management and the hotel is run according to the right staffing levels needed. The hotel enjoys guests staying with them and also loves when they don't get called Hitler for informing you, that you unfortunately cannot drink after the licensing hours. As for readings this would not be discussed with a guest and I... More
