We stayed at Astor House for three nights with our two sons in December during the time of the Christmas Markets. As other reviewers have noted, yes it is up the hill but it is an easy ten minute walk from the train station and the main town - and even easier going back down. The house was beautifully decorated...

My partner & I booked a one-night stay here in January this year in order for my son to attend an interview for Bath Spa University.Would recommend this Guest House to anyone.Easy to find and free parking on the street immediately outside the property was available which is always a bonus. We had a very comfortable night's sleep, no noise...

Great friendly B and B, good clean accommodation with a large tea selection available in room. Arrival was painless with free parking available on the drive and road outside. Breakfast was included and was sufficient to keep you going until the first tea shop in bath. A 15-20 min walk into town but also on a main bus route. Good...

Nice little B&B situated about 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Bath. Rooms are perfectly adequate & had a lovely sleep on both nights we stayed. OK so some of the fittings in the room might need a little "tweaking"...handle missing on Wardrobe door, toilet roll holder loose....but what the heck, you are only passing through. Very nice breakfast...

Stayed for two nights with my boyfriend as a little valentines day getaway. The good parts. Everyone we met was really warm and friendly and happily went out of their way to help us when I asked for an extra blanket one night. It hotel is in a great location, only a short walk away (but mostly uphill on the...

Astor house is a lovely little b&b located fairly close to Bath City Centre. There's a cut-through path just along the road which takes you most of the way down, so the walk to the centre takes about 20 minutes. The staff all seemed lovely, though we didn't see very much of them, and the breakfast was wonderful both mornings...

Good staff, tasty breakfast, comfy bed and attentive staff - what more could you ask for? The bedroom was big and clean and the bathroom was great too. It's an easy walk in to town but an uphill walk back so probably worth getting a taxi. Beautiful Victorian house.

Good bed and breakfast with nice, attentive staff. Breakfast was good, only slight complaint from husband was that the hash brown was a little soggy, otherwise good. 15 minutes walk into Bath. We got a taxi back up the hill to the bed and breakfast with our two children from the station and it only cost £5. Would recommend. Good...

Adequate room however unfinished; wallpaper did not match up, handles missing from furniture and a number of the items in the room were wobbly. TV couldn't be watched from bed without straining your neck. Bed was too hard for my partner and Pillows were very flat. Breakfast was average; mushrooms soggy and eggs not the best. Service was quick yet...
