The Crescent Guesthouse is located within an easy stroll from the city centre, and has affordable room rates. Do keep in mind that this is a guest house, not a hotel, so not with a 24hr reception, and the rooms have a very homely feel. Kind of old-fashioned interior too, felt I was staying at my grandmother’s house – not...

The info pre booking was a little confusing but we eventually found our way to the Guest House. The print out said "Don't go to the carpark until after 4pm" and then park for 24 hours for £8.When we got to the Guest House there was a very abrupt "I expected you at 1pm (we didn't say anything re arrival) and...

My mum and I visited Bath for a long weekend; we felt very lucky to be staying in the Crescent Guest House. It's incredibly close to the city centre - a ten minute walk on the flat , just as the website says. And on the tourist bus route, so handy again if you don't fancy walking. Rita made us...

We stayed for two nights in the B&B. The room was very clean but small and the decor dated and unremarkable. Our stay was ok and the location of the B&B is brilliant, but i wouldn't bother recommend it because it is so unremarkable and there are plenty of others in Bath charging around the same amount. I'm genuinely surprised...

The Crescent Guest House was a great B & B. I have traveled the world and hold a high standard to quality service & comfort and the Crescent met them both. Our room was comfortable, cute and very clean and well kept. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each morning of cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and specific to order dishes if...

Rita is very welcoming and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed & made the most of our couple of days in Bath thanks to her. Breakfast is superb with lots of choice and can be a really social occasion around the communal dining table (there is a separate small table for 2 if you're not a morning person). Location is amazing,...

Wow...experiences can sure differ. From the minute we walked in the door, we were met by an inhospitable woman who did not smile once, did not ask us how we were, was not in the least bit friendly, and bemoaned the fact that we needed to have a hot breakfast earlier than 8:30 due to traveling schedules (tour, train). Note:...

Excellent position, in walking distance from the centre of Bath and many restaurants. Comfortable rooms though quite small rooms with en suite. Good breakfast. Friendly owner who suggested things to do. Could have done with a lounge area but we sat in the dining room if we were there at any time during the day. In the evening, after going...

Our first time in Bath and Rita was our lucky choice. The ensuite had really hot water, is skilfully designed into the Room which with its quality TV, was fine for us over a 3 night stay. - we are over 65 and have been & seen many Rooms around the world. People wanting lots of space in a Room,...

This B&B is in a fantastic location, it is only 5 minutes walk to Bath City center. Although there is no allocated parking, you can use the nearby residents parking, and Rita, the landlady will give you a permit. Rita is also very knowledgeable about Bath, and will recommend activities and restaurants. Whilst our room was a little small,it was...
