We wanted a basic hotel in Bath for 2 nights during the half marathon, and that is what we got. The staff are very helpful, the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, breakfast is good and the location is perfect. The number of steps to our room created some significant post-run difficulties (4 floors, no lift) but that's our fault for...

Just stayed in this hotel for a weekend for a girls get together. We didn't realise that it was the Bath half Marathon when we booked it. The city was full of folk in trainers! The hotel is an excellent location for all things, including the train station bus station shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and welcoming and...

We stayed in this hotel for a work reunion as the budget was tight. From the outside the hotel is really pretty and is very convenient and central with a lovely outlook. Inside however it is very tired and in need of upgrading as it could be stunning. Saying that it was very cheap so you get what you pay...

Park Parade is ideally located close to city centre and close to car park, bus and train stations. Close to bars and restaurants as well. Parts of the PP look a bit dated but it is clean and tidy. The room we had was on top floor as not the biggest of rooms. The decor was ok but very white....

I am really confused as to why Parade Park are being slated on here? I stayed here with my girlfriend for one night and we were both pleasantly surprised. After reading the reviews on here we were both expecting the worst, and this is one of the main reasons I am writing this review. The staff were all extremely welcoming...

We knew it would be basic and to be honest our room was clean. But I have to say the breakfast was dire.....I serve better to my guests and they are not paying! Even the toast appeared to be budget level! Could be a wonderful hotel, location and views were great but the whole place needs a massive injection of...

Room ok apart from no mirror near to electric sockets do you can see what your doing. Decor tired, and hotel web page misleading as it boasts about the big breakie as setting up any rugby fan for the day only to find breakfast is hard bolide eggs ham salami toast fruit and muffin. Not what I would consider setting...

I was travelling with a disabled friend. The staff were very helpful - put us in a ground floor room and said we could eat continental breakfast in the ground floor bar (though this meant choosing and collecting food from the upstairs breakfast room which they then helped us to carry down on plates). There is no lift. They were...
