A lovely hotel with a lot of character and unique style. On arrival we were greeted and welcomed with a smile. We'd not been to Bath before and the young lady very kindly gave us some clear directions and a map to get us to the centre to explore. She was attentive and friendly. The actual room was very stylish...

Centre of city walkable from Apsley House. Adequate parking. Friendly staff, helpful and quick to give advice about Bath. Comfortable bedroom and well-appointed bathroom. Plenty of storage. View from window was of a wall a few feet away but air conditioning worked well. The honesty bar was morally challenging but it worked well. Great white tablecloth breakfast with lovely old...

This is the boutique hotel/b&b that others should learn from: in every aspect, excellent! Specifically, they cover every detail, starting with the gracious welcome and overview of necessary info to settle in, to the lovely and well outfitted room (with the only King-sized bed we encountered in our 2 weeks of hotel/b&b stays throughout the UK!), to the lounge area...

We arrived relatively late in the evening, to be met by a very 'smiley' receptionist, who I assume - after having spent the weekend at the hotel - was actually the manager. She gave us all the information that we needed - maps etc. booked a local gastropub for almost immediate dinner (it was 8.15 pm) - and then carried...

We arrived with friends for our two night stay and were pleasantly surprised to find both rooms ready for occupation at lunchtime. Our arrival welcome was first class with the hotel manager explaining everything about the hotel, location, providing maps and...

On arrival we were stunned with how lovely it looked and the friendliness of the staff, it felt like a home away from home. The hotel has free wifi throughout the venue and a delicious selection...

We've just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable two night stay in the Romantic room at Apsley House. The bed was extremely comfortable! All of the staff we met were very pleasant and made us feel most welcome. An anniversary card and gift thoughtfully left in our room was a lovely surprise on arrival. The hotel is in an excellent location...

This is our second visit to the beautiful and historic Apsley House and as long as we keep travelling it wont be our last. From online booking (choosing which room would meet our needs and other questions we had) to a warm inviting welcome, to a well appointed room the Apsley is second to none. We were welcomed, shown our...

My partner booked us into the Apsley for a night whilst visiting Bath. From the moment we walked through the front door we fell in love with it. Such a beautiful house with a warm and welcoming feel. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much for them as we found when my partner arranged some beautiful surprises...
