Nice welcome from checkin, staffs are very helpful and friendly, thanks for the guy in check -in desk who changed coins for me and show me how to use the machine. The hostel is a little bit difficult to find and if you access by the entrance on Walcot street, have to climb up a flight of stairs but it...

I have stayed in the Bath YMCA on a few occasions, each time the reception staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. The dorm rooms are always immaculate, and shower facilities are very good. The breakfast is amazing, with the option of paying for a cooked breakfast on a weekend. Another wonderful aspect of the YMCA is that it also...

This hostel is amazing. I have been several times and either stayed in a dormitory or a twin room if with a family member. The facilities are top class. Comfy beds and always someone on the reception desk who is more than happy to help with anything snd very friendly. A lovely breakfast is also included in the price.

For a hostel this was a great experience! Had a shared room of 4 with 2 bunk beds, one sizable wardrobe, and a nightstand. The rooms and bedding were extremely clean and warm! Additional pillows were provided which was awesome because I did not expect to have this at a hostel. There was a shared bathroom for the floor. One...

Situated in a handy location in the centre of town with all the main attractions and train station within walking distance. The 12-bed dorm was roomy and good value, though was noisy (dependent of course on your fellow dorm-mates) The breakfast included was basic but more than adequate, as much cereal or toast you need and plenty of fruit. The...

Had stayed for a night, centrally located, good staff, clean rooms, dorms covered with curtains, has plug sockets for each bunk. Has common area with pool table, wifi available but needs a PIN from counter( which is quite annoying). A small sitting area outside the hostel make it good for a beer or two!!

This hostel wasn't the best hostel I have stayed at, however it was clean, fairly comfortable and the staff was friendly. The only issue I had was the noise from outside, bear in mind the building does face a main road and if your staying on a weekend, you may be kept awake by all the yelling ect outside, as...

I hv been at YMCA only for one night but this hostel is good: Localization, staff, security and breakfast. I recommend !!! I didn't like only to stay inside bedroom with other 23 people, its a lot people inside room. But I chose this option, I ll not repeat this choice!!

We stayed here for three nights in a private room, and thought as a place to sleep it was OK. The building is pretty bland and lacking in character, which is pretty surprising for a city like Bath, where almost every building is beautiful! It was about a 15 minute walk from the bus station, and it's about a 5-10...

My partner & I stayed in a private room during a break to Bath. The location of the hostel is great. Unfortunately we had to check out early as my partner was unwell. The rooms are basic but clean. The bathroom, however could have been cleaner, there was a dead moth on the floor for the duration of our stay....

Our new and improved rooms will deliver a high standard comfortable hostel room for 2010. The YMCA is centrally located, just a stones throw away from all the major tourist attractions, tempting shops, sensational restaurants, Bath Rugby, pubs, clubs and award winning parks. If you want to be in the middle of it, then the YMCA is the location for you. The old Victorian building is at least 130 years old and overlooks the bustling Broad Street. It houses our dormitory accommodation for groups, backpackers and holiday makers. It also boasts a rather unusual mural on the grand main staircase. All guests have access to single sex bathroom facilities throughout the range of accommodation and all areas have secure access, ensuring your safety at all times. Staff on the 24 hour reception are nearly all locals who know Bath inside out. So we can help you plan your stay, organise and book tours or recommend a place to eat or visit. We will let you know what's on, where's in and what to avoid and what's unmissable in Bath. Guests at the YMCA also benefit from access to our fantastic health and fitness centre, with a great gym, a wicked range of classes for those of you who want to sweat, tone or relax, sauna, sunbeds and the friendliest gym staff you are ever likely to meet. So, if you are travelling but want to maintain your fitness program or just chill out in the sauna - we're the place for you. If you are travelling in a big group we can also offer conference facilities/meeting rooms further catering etc - just ask and we will do our best to deliver! We can accommodate over 200 people a night, so whether you are travelling alone or in a big group, old, young or with children - we have the bed for you.
