This was my second visit to Pulteney House and just as nice. What I'm amazed at is the great value you get. I paid about half the amount that city centre guest houses were charging. Sure, it's across the river but what's a 5 minute...More

Close to city centre and hotel room very comfortable all I would say is that being slightly disabled I found the steps and stairs rather difficult that saying the hotel was very clean and the breakfast excellent.

My daughter & I are coming to Bath to celebrate our respective " big birthdays " together , a little mother & daughter treat- time ! Would we be better in a basement twin room or an annexe twin room ? I'm a little worried that basement room sounds poky and claustrophobic

Hi, I have mild MS and find stairs difficult, though one flight of stairs isnt too bad. Do you have any ground floor rooms (twin or double) or rooms where only half flight of stairs? How long would it take to get to the Abby Hotel where the Mad Max Tours do their pick up at 8:30 am? We are going to Bath May 19, 2016 Judy St.Cyr

Dear Judy, We do have ground floor rooms in the annex either an en-suite king size double or an en-suite twin room. Our dining room is in the main house on the lower floor down about 5 stairs from the annex. More... More
